awh huge hugs fedup - I am sorry to read your post above - he was a grand old age and had a lovely life with you. Its only natural to feel his loss but remember the happy times and not his passing - as you said he is sleeping pain free now. give your young doggy an extra cuddle as he will be a bit lost too.
    love and hugs

Polly Puss looks gorgeous pigpen. I keep meaning to ask - how is Hazel now? What does she make of the new arrival(s)?

At the moment we still just have 1 arrival. but there are 2 more kittens and the mum to be captured.. living out the back of a restaurant where my sister works.. Polly because she loves perching on shoulders like a parrot!

Hazel is doing great back to her usual naughty self in fact.. we are hoping she will teach Polly how to wash herself as she has no idea at the moment.. her mum is very young and done a bad job at teaching her hygiene and we are yet to find out if she is litter trained.

she is about 10 weeks, called Polly, and hopefully is being rehomed.. I have 4 cats already and don't think I can afford to feed another.. she appears to have a sore eye today which i'll keep my unsore eye on and visit the vet on Monday with her if necessary. She also need a bath.

DS1 is home on Wednesday we think.. moving into the flat above my BIL's shop just round the corner.. it is being decorated at the moment and we are scraping together the vital housey bits they will need..

nice to have you home hun xxx If there is anything we can do from afar give us a yell and we will gladly do it if we can!

    Welcome back toots!!!
pigpen and soappie have been doing a great job keeping us all in order, but it's not the same without you.

That's great news, me. A lot of work for you getting them sorted, but it will be a relief when they are settled.

frodders - congrats - hope the game was as good as the result :T
  • I have just realised why I dont actually get much done although I feel busy - I am not picking a job from the list - I just sort and tidy and wash up....:doh::rotfl::o - I am so useless.....

I am just having a break with another cup of tea as I feel dehydrated from so many hours driving then I will start again and this time I will pick a job from the list and finish it!! :rotfl:

In the HHC I did manage to :

    1 x lot washing up
    1 x WM
cleared away 2 bags of bits and food that we brought back from holiday
cleared up around my chair - how can 1 x GT make it so filthy in just a few days!!
hung up several bits of dry washing that had been dumped on the sofa
said hello to the cat and fed her
put away umbrella's and found and put away 2 x dust pan's but only 1 brush
Got rid of lots of recycling

Have asked DS to wipe up - but that was 10mins ago an he has still not appeared!!

Its nice to see you back Toots!! I am glad that you are feeling a bit better - the AB's will work soon!
