I feel like I need to be 'on one' today so my edroom is being hit first.. it has devolved into something swamplike with all my christmas purchasing and I hate it! OH has started shifting some of his stuff here too so that is hogging some room.. I WILL have it reasonably habitable by.. 3pm .. 2 hours should be enough..
I WILL have the shelves of bed linen sorted and cleared.. and I WILL have some stuff photographed for ebeast and I WILL have the bedding washed

BORING POST ALERT...
Can i just throw a spanner in the works regarding income support? As you might have gathered.. i do an avon round so am self employed.. but because i only earn a little bit of money i still claim income support... i was told by numerous people at income support (and my paperwork says) im allowed to earn £20 a week before it affects my benefit.. and im allowed £20 a week matinence aswell... not £15 like your saying.
So for example: where they give the breakdown of how your benefit was worked it showed they worked out my earnings at £17.87 a week in the 6 pay periods before my claim based on my accounts i sent them....therefore i have not lost any benefit for working as on average it was under £20 a week i earnt .... however Ex-OH was paying £150 a month matinence so they have allowed £20 a week to be disregarded but took £15ish a week off my benefit for the rest.. so i only get £49ish a week income support instead of £64.30
I was told they need to know about every bit of money you get even if its under the £20.... and I had to tell them and prove (copys of standing orders) exact amounts of matinence and I have to submit my work accounts every 6 "pay days"... They then work out my average earnings across that time and then reassess my income support accordingly for the following 6 pay periods  So anything i earn over £20 this week will be taken off my benefit in 18 weeks time... (so i have to hold on to it really and not spend it otherwise i'll be short of it then ) Confusing or what?!!:rotfl:
Not sure about the spending money thing though as Ex doesnt give me anything for her at min... but i dont declare if he or someone else buys something for her as a gift like clothes or toys as thats not income....but i have to be honest i also wouldnt declare if nanny and grandad gave sarah £1 pocket money when we visit as thats not income for me is it? (watch someone say i should now!!)
BUT i had to tell the Council and prove exactly how much money was in sarahs savings account when i applied for council tax benefit aswell as my own bank accounts. So childrens money matters for that.
Id say if in doubt abuot anything id ring your income support office or your lone parent adviser at the jobcentre just to check.... although i understand why you wouldnt wanna ask incase you flag yourself as looking suspicious as valli i think it was said....
im worrying myself at the minute though as although i have been honest and declared everything etc... since i wrote to them few weeks ago to say Ex-OH had been sacked so has stopped paying me matinence i have heard nothing and my money hasnt changed to reflect it. But i got a letter other day saying they want me to attend an interview with a "compliance officer" in different jobcentre to my usual one on Friday about a "query" with my claim! So i assume its over the matinence but i dunno so am worrying a bit even though ive done nothing wrong AFAIK but its a bloomin minefield isnt it??!!
Sorry that was a bit of a ramble...............:o:o:rotfl::rotfl:
Flying wise ive done nothing....... must crack on with the list later when ive got back from the supermarket.... DD is being really clingy today though so dunno how far i'll get!0 -
Johanne. when I did my claim in March they told me £15 and my paperwork states £15 as well.. wonder why the difference.. not that it makes much difference £5 is barely enough for one meal in here! I don't get a bean from kn0bhead either.. though CSA said if the were to pay anything I would only get £10 a week more than I do now.. regardless of how much they took off him.. Once I get to uni though.. I'll get it all.. not that he will pay anything still.
Polly Puss... rescued yesterday.. just waiting for her 2 siblings and her mum now! and it is OH's hand that is huge not the kitten! She is about 10 weeks old and fairly average size.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Ah well in that case you need my patented dot2dot methodchoose ne area, or in your case 1 box and sort that. Then you expand out from there keeping the first area sorted and adding on the next bit. That with pigpen's lists and the encouragement of the who, team on here will help. There are NO failures here but celebrations of what we have achieved

Please may I have a star, soappie? Last one of the week(end), spare oom DONE.
eta dolly I will have a crack at this and valli can tell me if it's right.
There is a hormone that is produced in your body in pregnancy and that hormone is produced in tiny amounts in very early pregnancy, but that amount increases quite quickly in the early stages. The test strip reacts with the hormone to become coloured, so in very very early pregnancy, the strip may not change colour (not enough of the hormone yet) or may just turn very faintly coloured. A few days later, if the person is pregnant, then the strip that didn't become coloured before, may do now, as there is more of the hormone present.
hope that helps?!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
