Dont think I could listen miners still whingeing on about how the lost their jobs

Or steelworkers, shipbuilders, engineers, farmers, various manufacturing disciplines to name but a few:rolleyes:. The last 30 years has done wonders for our part of the world. Still, there's work around. I believe there is still demand for bus drivers, tesco shelf stackers and job centre advisors around here @ £6ph.

All's well up north y'know. If things get really tough, we could move down to the big smoke and work in the casino that is the square mile......oh hang on, missed the boat on that one. Ah well, the're always taking on at the local council.....:rotfl:

seems a lot are doing it ,nearly every person in scotland news seems to be english .Apart from the chavs/neds of course.

I cant remeber the last time I seen scottish national news without at least one english accent heard , usually its someone in some job related to the story.

But then again you have brown to balance it off , cant include darling though as hes english "doing a job in scotland" or depending on how you look at it a "job on england".:D
Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Sorry but I don't belive up north exists.
It has been made up by Halifax/Nationwide/Land Registry to skew house prices.

OOP North does exist,Surely the fact that Most of the holiday properties in Brixham are owned by Northerners should convince you.
