Thanks everyone, I've only managed level one of the Shred so far, slowly but surely!

Now for something money related! I have nearly £900.00 in my account and I get paid on Friday. At first glance this seems amazing but knowing my budget like I do it means I have forgotten some bills. This is what I get for being complacent about doing my budget every month - arrrggghh. So now I am going to have to do one for the month gone, check back over statements to see what has been paid and work out who or what I have forgotten to pay. I just hope to god I dont get any charges from anywhere *sob* be back soon xxx

Good luck in working it out but perhaps it is genuinely money you haven't spent and is spare.

If only it was spare, although to think when I am debt free it could realistically be that much we have to 'play' with!

Panic over, have done budget, our month runs to 9th Aug and lots of big bills to go as most go on the 1st. After the bills have gone I reckon I have 54.00 left over. I have transferred it into my savings account now so lets hope my dodgy maths hasnt let me down! It does mean though that all of OH's earnings between now and the 9th can go straight into savings which will mean that we are having a good month. As its the holidays it will give us a bit of breathing space to take the kids on a couple of days out. We also have to budget for my brothers wedding at the end of August as it will mean OH missing a whole bank holiday weekend - he nearly had a heart attack when he realised that! xxx
