My Private Banking one arrived. Quite nice - the VISA Debit logo is all in silver.
Pictures are here - done the pics side by side with the old card for comparison:

With my Natwest accounts I have one card with my first name and last name on it, and another card with my initial then last name so I can tell the difference.0 -
From reading these forums over the last few months am I right to judge that there are FOUR different types of Visa Debit/Electron? Three of which can be get issued with a basic bank account (number 2, 3 and 4 below)
1) The Visa Debit with cheque guarantee as used by nearly all banks current accounts and can be used and accepted just about everywhere.
2) The Visa Debit that requires authorisation like Solo and Electron but is nevertheless considered a 'normal' Visa Debit Card and (like 1 above) can be used and accepted just about everywhere. Barclays and LloydsTSB basic accounts use this?
3) The 'pretend' Visa Debit as used mistakenly I believe by the Co-op basic Cashminder account, it looks like one (embossed) but is actually an Electron, it requires authorisation and cant be used in the same places that an Electron cant be used in.
4) The Visa Electron, totally flat and un-embossed, many places still dont accept it (same as 3 above). Halifax Basic account uses it (Easycash).
Have I got all this wrong? And what catagory will the new RBS/NatWest basic Key/Step accounts use?0 -

Is there a difference between 2 and 3? The only places I've had a Visa Electron or Full Auth Visa Debit turned down are places where the terminal isn't connected to the internet so it can't check for authorisation - i.e. on trains. I thought a Full Auth Visa Debit was pretty much the same as a Visa Electron.0
