Sorry, I don`t dare... we go with some mates, who stay with a guy who`s a local councillor, and he lets us use a particular field, which I don`t dare tell anyone else about, as it`s not common knowledge  having said that, we do go into the show itself as well, as I love looking around all the stands- yes, it`s expensive, but well worth it! We also go to a couple of free airshows, the most recent being the one in Swansea- very good it was, too!!!! Farnborough is another I will be adding to the list- it`s every other year.

nearer the time i will tell you where the field for farnborough is, its not a secret;) and its by far the best air show around;)
  • Can anyone offer a bit of advice about the rustlers BOGOF MOC? I took it that you can use 2 of them when purchasing 2 rustler products and thus get them both for free. I have done that a couple of times but another time the SA insisted they could only take one as the MOC says BOGOF and otherwise I would "be getting both for free and that just cannot be right!"

I explained that Tesco are supposed to take one MOC without even buying the product so I should be able to use 2 when buying 2 of the products. She would not have it though and kept quoting from the text on the coupon. When I quoted the text on a different coupon about how it can only be redeemed for that product and yet Tesco are letting me use it without buying that product she did not care.

It did not matter too much as she was enforcing that stores "policy" of maximum 50% off with MOCs so I just substituted some different MOCs for the rustlers one that was refused.

Also, does anyone have some special way of microwaving rustlers so that the bun doesn't get soggy?

HI i always take the burger out and heat that for the 90 second and then just put the bun in to take the chill off, I find that soo much easier and no soggy bun! lol

Thanks to everyone on all your great coupon hunting today.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Brilliant shop at Tesco this evening. I went armed with my £5 off £25 clothes from The Sun, plus my usual handful of assorted coupons.

I bought my normal shopping plus £26 worth of clothes (well, a girl's gotta!).

But when I got the checkout I noticed some flyers sitting there - with coupons attached - giving £5 off when you spend £25 on clothes!! Woohoo! I picked one up, tore the coupon off and added it to my bundle.

All seemed to go well, the coupons all scanned - apart from the £5 Sun coupon. The checkout guy was a bit bemused cos he could see that I'd spent £26 on clothes. He said it may be because the coupon hadn't been put on the system, and told me to go to customer services to get reimbursed.

So, I popped along to customer services and was handed £5 in cash in exchange for the Sun coupon. The assistant was very apologetic and said that this wasn't the first time this had happened, blah blah blah. :j

So, I'm not sure if these flyers are available nationwide, but they certainly are at Silverburn!! So look out for them if you are buying clothes (especially if you have another £5 clothes coupon like I did! What a bargain!!).

I thought they have just decided NOT to to send them for winning so many, so i've stopped playing.

I'm still playing, and they are still coming thru, they did stop for a while

I purchased clothes today and SA were giving these flyers today away also.

Just a warning that these flyers specifically state not be used in conjuction with any other clothing coupon, so be prepared they might not take the £5 flyer coupon and the £5 leaflet coupon together

Sorry about your experince - you won in the end though and he's probably got severe indigestion after his hissy fit.

I'm a bit worried about the comment re 90 - 99 barcodes though as , if they exclude 99 cosed then we are all basically stuffed !!!!
I am a bit concerned about this too. The huge Tesco I normally use seem well versed on the coupon policy, and have always been very helpful. Yesterday a supervisor told me a memo from head office that they were no longer accepting coupons that began with the code 990 up to 994 because of the huge number of fraudulent copies they were receiving. Does anyone have clarification on this?
