For some reason I forgot that being payday means I can move money to the mortgage pot  I think its cos its not the new month yet, and not being at work, my brain isn't switched on properly! I think its cos its not the new month yet, and not being at work, my brain isn't switched on properly!
Anyway, money from my wages has been duly moved to the mortgage pot and has knocked a month off the mortgage term and I only need to find a tenner to knock the next month off too :j
Postied just been and brought me an Avon lip gloss, I've no idea why, I expect I apllied for a freebie from here some time but I don't remember it Now I need to decide whether to open it (its in plastic packaging) or put it straight into my present box. The colour just says "mauve". I may keep it for when ds has to take bits into school for the mothers day gift table, I have loads of lip glosses and I do tend to stick to my juicy tubes, so I probably wouldn't use it, think I'll stick it in the present box Now I need to decide whether to open it (its in plastic packaging) or put it straight into my present box. Just realised from my signature that once I find that tenner and knock off the next month that I will 'only' have exactly 10 years left to clear off the mortgage to meet my target :j :jMortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Thanks for reminding me it's payday - didn't think it would go in today, but it has. Guess it is early due to the bank holiday.0

We've had a really lovely day out, we went to Moors Valley (£7 car park ) and went on the steam train (£5), played in the play-area and ds loved the zip-wire this time :j, then we got an ice-cream (£2.25) and went and did the play trail (woodland walk with lots of activity things for kids on the way round). There was a minibeasts quiz too (£1) which we did and ds loved it all
On the way back we went via a local village where they have a scarecrow festival each year. About half of the houses take part and put scarecrows outside their houses. Its lovely to see the different versions, there was a Wallace and Gromit one, a Tom & Jerry one, a Peppa Pig one, allsorts! Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000 Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
