Yeah I think it is the short one Dangers, maybe I'll start looking into that job tonight, thankyou :D

Today we went to do the mystery shop but the place was shut  We then went on to Bournemouth and happened to pop in to M&S's sale ... £50 of my £200 went into their till :o but I did get a beautiful Per Una ruffley white shirt (£17), I've been wanting one like it for ages, 2 pairs of trousers for work (£9 each) which again I was planning on buying a couple of pairs before we go back, 2 white t-shirts (£2 & £4), 2 x 5 pairs of socks for ds (£3 each), but they are better quality than tescos ones he normally has and 5 pairs of boxers for ds (£3). I also returned the item to next but spotted a gorgeous jumper for me which was only £15 which seems a bargain for them ;):D Then we went to Body shop and I got my £5 gift, I got a nice little gift box thing and a cute wooden hairbrush for my bag, and it cost me £1.93 in total :D

We bumped into mum and dad while we were there and dad was totally out of it today. I sat with him on a bench for ages so mum could get some shopping done or she'd never have got nything done :o We went back to hers afterwards and he didn't even know who she was :o:o

Sorry for not updating at all today, I've had one of those nervous / on edge kinda days as we had the dentist toniht. Ds has been to the school dentist before but this was his first trip to a proper one :o The reason he hasn't been befpre is I have a phobia about them, I hate going and my teeth are disgusting :o:o Anyway, I finally made myself go and take him too, he loved it  :D and didnt want to leave ... I, on the other hand, have to go and have x-rays done then have the joy of 3 x 40 minute appointments for a whole variety of extractions / crowns / fillings and god knows what else   I really dont want him ending up having a manky mouth like me so I am proud of myself for finally taking him :D His father always promised he'd take him but well his promises never did mean much

Other than that we have been shopping a bit again today and I was very good, I bought ds a lunchbox that he chose that was £1 in Asda :T he wanted a clear plastic tub this time round :D I also went into whsmiths as he was given a £10 voucher but we never go in there and theres nothing in there that you can't get for half the price in tescos, anyway I bought him an itunes gift card with it which is much more useful for him as he loves me downloading songs for him onto my ipod :D

We also went to the bank and paid in a couple of cheques. Listwise I have named ds uniform and checked his pe kit, he needs a new fleece but I can pick one up in tescos for him.

I'm just waiting to see how much a matched bet may make me tonight, won't be much but it all helps :D

Well done on facing your fear! my DS can't see what all the fuss is about but then again he's ten and the only thing he's ever had done is getting those veneer things - he'll learn. We have a lovely lady dentist and she's even great with adults!

I was the same as you over the dentist and forced myself to register with one again this spring because I would have to take dd2 as she's coming two years old. I needed four twenty min appointments and had extractions, fillings etc. To be honest every emotion went through me when I was sitting in the waiting room. I even nearly left which is something I would never do.

But on the whole it actually wasn't as bad as the fear I had built up, so I hope it wont be for you. I still don't like them but I know now they wont hurt me.

The thing that scares me most about going to the dentist is the cost

I hate the dentist too - I had to go a few years ago after a fe wyear absence...fillings for me too:o I have one tooth that dentist said needs to come out one day, but for now it just keeps getting filled - having it removed scares the life out of me...

My youngest had a tooth with a hole in a few months ago - it was bothering her so we nipped in - poor thing they whipped the tooth out on the spot - she was fine though, it didn't bother her - just me who couldn't look (I wanted to put my fingers in my ears so I wouldn't hear the crunch, bu thought I'd look reeeally daft:rolleyes:)

Both my 2 had a check up today and all ok, thank goodness!! Just the sound of the polishing tool makes me cringe;)
