We've had a really lovely day out, we went to Moors Valley (£7 car park :eek:) and went on the steam train (£5), played in the play-area and ds loved the zip-wire this time :j, then we got an ice-cream (£2.25) and went and did the play trail (woodland walk with lots of activity things for kids on the way round). There was a minibeasts quiz too (£1) which we did and ds loved it all

On the way back we went via a local village where they have a scarecrow festival each year. About half of the houses take part and put scarecrows outside their houses. Its lovely to see the different versions, there was a Wallace and Gromit one, a Tom & Jerry one, a Peppa Pig one, allsorts!

My dd2's Granny took a pic of her next to the Peppa Pig one the other day. It's so cool. I can't wait to drive through next week.

Morning The sun is shining here and it is looking lovely We're off to a bbq for the day today, been arranged for yonks so it looks like they are going to be lucky with the weather!

25p and 10p on the scratchcards today, a small matched bet qualifier done and I need to place a free bet later but the odds are rubbish at the moment. I also want to see if I have any of that £200 left over, I think its pretty much gone, maybe a tenner or so left :rolleyes:

I've been thinking about next summer and am considering saving my clubcard points for a holiday abroad with ds I currently have about £200 of vouchers towards it, (you can now use a max of £400 per person in vouchers), I think it would cost roughly about £1000 altogether, so £800 to find, but a year in the mean time to save some more clubcard points Will give it some more thought and look into it properly, and theres also my flying phobia to take into account :rolleyes:)

The matched bet freebie has been duly placed and will net me £7.62, meaning I have to find less than £4 to get rid of Spetember 2023

I am also struggling to find decend odds at the moment for a £50 SNR bet, I saw a good one earlier in the week but I was at work so the main sites were blocked:mad: Of couse they had changed when I got back home:rolleyes:

Morning The bbq yesterday was fabulous, my friends hubbie spent the whole time either cooking on th bbq or making cocktails for us all, it was fabulous !! I even have a clear head this morning which I really wasn't expecting

Today we're going for a nice walk with a friend so hopefully a fairly cheap day out

I'm down your neck of the woods on Tuesday. I do believe that the best team in Somerset are travelling down to play the best team in Dorset in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy...
