I buy that when it is on offer - it is decent stuff!

Well done on the win :T

Thanks Hypno, had a look on the website and it looks nice stuff :D
Well we walked to school today and then to the park after school and so far I have done 12,350 steps today :j :j This should definitly help with the weightloss if I can keep it up, we can't walk again tomorrow as ds has swimming after school, but if we can try again some other times this week then that will be good.

Not so good news: had an email today from virgin bingo saying they've noticed my account activity is based round the free scratchcard and unless that changes then they'll close the account. Tbh its a very fair polite email, but for the sake of 10p a day I may just give it up anyway, not as lucrative sa they used to be :o

Ds is finally asleep, I've had my bath and now need 5 minutes tidy up time and then I can get on with some more comping :D My ebay bits have got a few watchers already but no bids so far. I hope some of them do sell this time as I'm feeling like I haven't made any money for ages :o I know the end of the footie season means it will slow down for a bit now, hopefully once the world cup starts there might be a few decent offers around again :o

Evening all, nothing much to report yet again; spent £2.43 today on milk and wraps oh and £1.80 on ds disco ticket and £10 on school lunches for him. He has got another woobly tooth tonight so is very excited about that :) He had his swimming lesson tonight too in the new group and one of his friends from his class started there tonight too so that was nice for him.

Am planning a bath and an early night tonight as I'm quite tired, with some comping thrown in there too :D

Evening all :) Today has been a fairly good day moneywise; I spent £15 on my sisters present but thats covered by the birthday fund. I had a reply from V*rgin bingo about my account and basically I have to deposit and play £5 of bingo each month, so in effect I sdeposit and play £5 and then withdraw the scratches of £5, so its like having £5 free bingo a month (but no more scratchcard money unless I get higher than 10ps several times) :o
I also got my petrol money back from school (£60) but think I will need to use it for this month as I seem to have spent most of it already, I need to check the finances first.

After school we went to my sisters for a cup of tea (walked there and back) and I've done just under 10,000 steps today :D I've hoovered and tidied up tonight and changed the beds, ds is about to get out of the bath and go to bed and then I'm having a bath and some mse time tonight :)

Hiya benben, just to let you know I still do the V!rgin while depositing £5 per month. I know its not guaranteed but I have still come away with a profit every month. If you think about it you only need £1.90 after the scratches to break even. I find I often win something while playing through the £5. Also they tend to have free bingo hours for 2 weeks quite often, so marakesh will be free 1-2pm and 5-7pm every day. This has provided a few wins for me. You don't have to be glued to the laptop so much as able to dash back to it every 5-6 mins to buy tickets for the next game.

Today we walked to school again, and having collected ds and gone home via the park, I can now prouldy say I have walked 15,600 steps so far today :j I'm really hoping the scales notice a difference this week because I've really upped the walking this week. I can definitely feel it in my legs so am hoping they're toning up a bit with all this extra walking :)

Todays spends = £1.08 on rolls and a bun for ds at the bakers and 81p at the post office for the ebay item.

Still waiting for my Dorset cereal to arrive, I am sooo impatient :o Tonight is going to be a relaxing evening as I'm feeling very virtuous for doing all the walking :)

Today was on of those days at work that made me glad it was friday :o Anyway, ds isn't going to the disco after all tonight as he had a meltdown of major proportions on the way to school today, resulting in him screaming most of the way there and also swearing at me :(:( anyway, this weeks homework involves looking at recipes so we have decided to go to tescos and do the shopping now and then we're having a cook-a-thon this weekend :)

Still no cereal arrived, am getting impatient now :D

Sorry that DS spoiled your day - hope things are much calmer now.

Have a good evening, and enjoy your cookathon!!

Good luck for WI tomorrow too :D
