Hello all, we're home :) We had a great day out, some good and not so good bits, but overall a great day! I managed to park on the road this morning and saved myself £12 of car park charges :j The coach itself was great, loads of legroom etc and only about 10 people on it. We went to Kings Cross station first to see Platform 9 3/4, then went to the Natural History Museum and did most of that, starting with the dinosaurs before they got too busy. The museum took til about 2pm then we went to watch trains / buses for the rest of the afternoon before coming home. Ds was asleep within 10 minutes of getting back on the coach :D Foodwise its been pretty awful today, a Burger King for lunch, lots of sweets, BUT, I have walked 16,000 steps in my defence :o Tomorrow we need to go food shopping and I will be back on my diet with a vengeance this week as I don't seem to have tried so hard this last few days ;) Moneywise wasn't brilliant either, I bought a zone 1/2 card but lost it somewhere and ended up getting a taxi for £7 back to the station as ds had had enough of walking by then. I also spent £4 on a dinosaur toy for ds, £6 in Burger King, £3 on a Lush bathbomb as a treat for tonight for me, and about £10 on magazines, sweets, drinks etc but we have had a lovely day so was worth it :D

Sounds like a good day - our parade is on Thursday evening - hopefully it will have stopped raining by then!

Food shopping is done, £39 spent which wasn't so bad this week, although I think my monthly spends budget (not inc. food and petrol) of £102 has practically gone already this month, will need to check the figures later :o

2nd load of washing is on, dishwasher is on, floors are looking fairly clear again, still need to clean and hoover and iron later.

Free bet is done, somehow managed to mess it up, but by the time I'd figured out what to do about it one team had scored and I ended up with an extra tenner profit, *I think*, will need to check it again once the match has finished :o

Trying now to persuade ds to do his homework but he's having none of it at the moment, grr :(

Nope, I still managed to get the figures wrong in the betting, but came out with £9 profit overall so am happy with that :) Ds has done his homework, its not great but he did sit still and concentrate to get it done. Off out now but will wrap up warm first, its freezing out there again :o

Back home, was nice enough, we manage to pick a spot along the beach where the bus stopped for 10 mins so we got a few good pics of the players, and very yummy some of them are too :D:D

We parked a bit along and walked up the beach which has put me on 5,000 steps for the day so far, I dread to think how low it would have been without that walk

An AFC Bournemouth open top parade? Blimey, that would have been a dusty bus then....;););):D

Congratulations though, seriously, it will be great to have you up at Huish Park next season along with Swindon (possibly), Exeter, Plymouth, Southampton, Bristol Rovers and Aldershot (possibly). Almost a regionalised division again....:o
