  • Benben would you use them for treats throughout the year, such as cinema tickets, meals out, theme park tickets or maybe treat yourself to a magazine subscription (house mag for ideas for your new home!) plus you could take DS to the theatre maybe?
  • Good luck with your plans re moving. You and DS deserve to have the home you crave and work hard for x

I think I may do that actually KM yeah, he already has a magzing subscription from there, my brother bought him 'The Railway' for xmas ;):D, I did have 'red' last year but hardly ever read it, may have another look and see what else there is.

They did have some panto tickets on there recently but again, nothing down our way. There isn't much else on there anymore of interest, I used to use the dry cleaning ones as that saved a lot of money. A friend works in Blockbuster so I can get reduced rentals there anyway, and we don't have any cineworld cinemas here either, we're just odeons :o:o

I'm wondering whether to look ingo Butlins or something again in the summer as ds did enjoy that, but it seemed an awful lot of money for not a lot of a holiday to me :(

  • What about using them for a hotel in this country for a week away somewhere, more luxury for you than a caravan and some do have holiday clubs for DS and make sure you get a pool too for him maybe?

I'm going to check the dates on the ones I've already got and maybe keep hold of them a bit longer and see if any new deals come up on there. If not then I will probably use them at restaurants, or shakeaway :D, or I can also get oxfam gifts on there now, and thats what I get ds teachers at the end of the year, so some can go on that.

Morning :) I weighed myself on thursday and friday morning and I had somehow managed to put 2lbs back on even though I've been pretty good :( So this weekend its all gone to pot and I've pigged out on choccy all weekend as well as that yummy meal on friday night and a bag of chips on saturday night :o:o Anyway, I decided I'd start again today so weighed myself this morning to find I've lost the 2lbs again :D Its no wonder people give up on diets, it all seems so random but anyway, time to be good again :D

Lol BB well done on the 2lb loss :D. You could try weighing yourself at the same time each week instead of every day?

Message for Tigz (couldn't fit it all on a text :o):

Yeah, it is about 100 metres up the road from me! Its very pretty but not much there, could go round it in a matter of minutes and then theres a nice coffee shop and then the steps down to the beach. It depends what kinda thing you're looking for really, it is nice but it won't take long to 'do' iyswim ;):)

Sorry about that anyone else who is reading, Tigz just needed some info about somewhere near where I live :D

Evening :D Today was another normal day at work. After school we went round to mums and helped dad write his card for my nans flowers. Dad can hardly write at all now because of his Parkinsons so it took about 20 minutes to write 3 words. He was in tears the whole time :(

I think the funeral tomorrow is gonna be a toughie, I'm not that upset personally but as soon as I see my Dad upset that will be it and I'll be in floods too :o:o

The only positive of tomorrow is that I will be able to take ds into school in the morning instead of breakfast club which will mean its not such a rush in the morning :)
