When we were kids my uncle, who worked in a wood company, made us a gorgeous sledge. but living near the coast we never had enough snow to use it ... well my sister phoned me this morning (she still has it) to say thet were going into the forest to use it, so ds and I went along and it was fab! Ds actually said it was the most fun thing he's ever ever done and is glad he didn't go to his dads after all as he would have missed it
We stopped at tescos on the way back and spent £28 on stuff for the week and have just had lunch. Think we'll both need a hot bath to defrost our toes in a bit thoughMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Aww I want a sledge! We went past boltons bench today and there were loads of people sledging there. We tried to get to Bolderwood today but there was no going on the road up there. I must admit I didn't like driving on the roads in the forest, I haven't driven in ice before and I was a little bit scared

The letters still didn't get done tonight but ds did read 2 chapters of The BFG all by himself when he went to bed :T I had to help him with 2 or 3 words but other than that he managed it on his own
Tomorrow I'm back to school too, its only staff and 6th form in tomorrow, then all the rest back on tuesday as long as theres been no more snow. Its been a lovely rest, I know we've only just had Christmas but I actually feel quite refreshed this time
I am concerned about the stuff I bought for ebay, I spent £45 and don't know if any of it is gonna sellI know its all a learning curve but its worried me now, maybe I should try Amazon if they don't go on ebay, they are books so I think they will go better on there but I haven't used it before. Ds is going to his dads next weekend so maybe I can have a look then.

Amazon's really easy to sell on - no photos and you don't have to pay a fee unless the item sells...so good to give it a try. They do take a big cut though. I sold a cookbook on there tonight - it was listed for £11.50. They give you money towards the postage then take their cut - I have almost £11 in the Amazon account,so once I've spent about £3 posting it, I'll clear about £8. Not bad, just a shame I had to pay Amazon about £3.80 fees:eek:I really need to sort out a new signature!0

hiya benben, I really enjoy reading your thread, it's very motivating. You could also list books on greenmetropolis as there are no listing fees. Hope that's usefulPrevious debt: £14K :embarasse Debt free: Sept '03
