We had loads of snow overnight - Tescos have cancelled their deliveries for this area. Went to a supermarket yesterday - they had run out of semi skimmed milk and potatoes

I wanted to get some fruit and veg in somerfield but they hardly had anything and what was there didn't look very fresh :o I got a message from ds school to say they were closing early so went and got him at 1 then stopped at the park on the way back with his friends and made a snowman. The snow has stopped now and is a bit slushy  I'm really hoping it freezes again so we don't have to go in tomorrow either :D

The list isn't going too well so far either, I have sent the email to my friend and done the hoovering, tried to do the electric reading but I can't submit it still. So theres still the ebay and the id to go ...

Hiya BB ~ DD's school closed early today, at 10am!!! Silly to open only to have to go back so soon, but at least they tried. It's closed 2moro as we're due more snow tonight and -4 overnight. So could be another day off 2moro.

Ds school closed at 1 Tigz, seemed a bit daft really, they may as well have stayed until 3 by that time but never mind, gave us time to go to the park and make a snowman :D

Ds has been watching Harry Potter since we got back and is now playing happily with some toys. I am finally going to make a start on the ebaying, then am looking forward to a nice warm bath as I'm freezing still, actually maybe I'll do the bath first ...

All the schools in North Somerset are closed tomorrow (and I reckon we stand we stand a good chance of being closed again on Friday). They announced this at around 3pm this afternoon! Jungle drums of the town worked well.

Well this morning we didn't even have any snow and we were closed so as there is some snow on the ground and I'm guessing its unlikely to have disappeared by the morning, what with the temperatures staying well below zero, I'm fairly hopeful for another day off tomorrow :D

We're all off again tomorrow - nice to know in advance so there's no rush to bed and can put the alarm off:beer:

I made it into work OK this morning - we'd had about 3 inches by that stage. Started snowing again hard at 2pm at work and Mum had already let me know that it had been doing so here for some time, so agreed with Area Manager that we would shut at 3pm to get everyone off home ahead of the traffic turning to chaos. Motorways were empty so I was home by 3.35pm! OH got in about 45 minutes later.
