  • sorry to hear about your nan Benben, its so sad. My grandad is really poorly at the moment, he has had Parkinsons Disease for 25 years now and is really struggling. Its hard to imagine life without grandparents when you have always had them around. Thinking of you. x

He does seem quite sleepy tonight luckily, my sister took him down the beach for a run about earlier and he's off in the bath in a minute which always helps too :D

STM, my Dad has Parkinsons too, and dementia, it is awful isn't it watching them gradually get weaker :o:o

Other news, have placed the qualifying bet (loss of £1.09) with a freebie £25 bet to come in a couple of days which should hopefully make me an overall profit of about £18ish

  • hope you get a better sleep tonight!

Yes grandad has dementia with the parkinsons but his dementia is quite under control with the dementia patches he gets. Apparently lots of authorities won't give them out cos of cost but he does get them and they help a lot. His parkinsons is bad now and he cannot walk and gets very down. They get a home help morning and night to get him up and put him to bed which helps - my nan is 80 and is his carer, she is amazing. Its an awful disease isn't it?

Evening everyone, snow's finally arrived here :j Its looking likely that we'll get a day off tomorrow which would be lovely :D

Postie today brought me a cheque for £50 from ex-mil, she sends it towards ds swimming lessons every few months, I pay them monthly out of my account so her money goes into the mortgage pot. In effect she pays for them ;) So thats another £50 into the mortgage fund today  He also finally brought my M&S sale order, everything is there, the autograph duffle coat I got for ds is gorgeous :D I haven't tried on the trousers I ordered for work yet but they look okay, just depends what they look like once they're on ;)

Assuming we are off school tomorrow I must get some more bits on ebay and get ds to finish his thankyou letters. Other than that it will involve snowball fights and snowman building :D
