Right, all wrapped up, all I need to buy now is a bag of rainbow drops to go into a homemade selesction box for a friends son. I need to deliver parcels but other than that I'm literally done now :j :j Might even have time to hit the sales on xmas eve
I do have loads of stuff still in my present box, normaly christmas wipes most of it out but theres still tonnes of stuff in thereIts mainly all kids stuff, ideal for parties and luckily ds has been invited to one in January so I am going to start a new spreadsheet for 2010 to see who I need to get for and what I've already got that could be used

Hellos Chops, matched betting is well worth doing, it is scary at first and is quite complicated, but as long as you check, check and doublecheck and then ask someone else to check on the sticky thread then you should be fine
I've just had my bath, got my pj's on already (figures no-one is likely to turn up in this weather unannounced), and am planning a night of totally gutting my finances to within an inch of their lifeI am expecting my account to be in a minus figure tbh, but then I have 10 days left to try to rectify that before the new year starts

I couldnt find the thread on giol can you please advise i think i already have a coral account am interested in this one please advise benben2010 - Goals

Well I'm quite confused now, pleasantly I might add, but still confused
I was expecting that once I'd sorted the accounts I should end up as -£400 in total, as I am still waiting to hear about a tax credit extra payment that should be coming to the tune of approx £400 which would cover the new tv and the car repairs costs from earlier in the year. However, having done all the finances my account ends up at -£34 in total :j Now I know theres still another 10 days left this month so clearly this amount will grow, but I have now finished buying all my pressies, I did a food shop yesterday that should last until xmas, then ds is at his dads and I'll be at mums for a day or two, so hopefully I should only need a small top-up shop before new year. My biggest battle will be to not go mad in the sales  I haven't got a vip slot for the next sale this year and actually thats not a bad thing, my next account is clear again now and I don't want to build it up again too much

Ladypink did you win??
Today it looks freezing again outside, we still haven't had any snow here but it is icy. Not sure what the plan is today yet, doesn't seem worth going far when its lethal to go anywhere, but ds will go nuts if we have another indoor day  Maybe take him for a walk along the beach later if it clears up a bit.
Last night I also managed to write a list of everything I have put away (clotheswise) for ds to grow into. Its actually not much at the moment which is unusual, normally I've got loads, so at least in the sales I know what to look for. I need to do a bit of housework today but not too much, I got the ironing done and put away yesterday so its just a case of staying on top of everythingMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

I didn't get an Next VIP slot either and was not impressed.....BUT, have now decided, like you, that it's not a bad thing, just stops me spending madly;)
I will still have a visit to Next on the 27th though....it's tradition, me and my sis:D:rolleyes:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Ds has been playing happily all morning and I've done a few bits and pieces; one more load of washing, cleaned the kitchen, figured out what was wrong with the oven and got it working again all by myself :j, made the beds and done all the surveys that were in my inbox.
We're going to go out for a walk now and get some fresh air, then more mooching indoors later and maybe a christmassy dvd
I'm starting to find bits to put on ebay too, theres no point putting them on right now but I want to get them photographed and the photos put on the laptop so that when I do get round to doing them its easier.
Postie brought me a letter from the inland revenue today too, they sent me one a few weeks ago saying I owed £149 for this years tax on my self-employed income, but now have said I don't owe anything, apparently it should have been £93 instead but they're going to take it out of my tax in my wages instead :T :TMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

We had a lovely walk down the beach, it was beautiful down there, we were all wrapped up with gloves and scarves etc and it was gorgeous
Ds took his metal detector to find hidden pirate treasure but unfortunately didn't find anything
We then went and collected a parcel from the post office and got some bread from the bakers, had lunch and now ds is happily playing with his toys and I've just done a tesco order for 30th DecemberI know that seems daft but I don't buy in a lot of extra food for xmas as we go to mums for xmas day and boxing day and ds is then at his dads, so by then the cupboards will be bare! Tescos are doing delivery for £2.50 that week and I had a code for £5 off, so already £2.50 up before I ordered anything. It also means I can avoid all the reduced xmas stuff in there so hopefully will save me even more money
I have spent £47 in total so that will be the start of the new years budget.
