That story you retold really brought it home to me to count your blessings, My life is in a bit of a pickle at the moment with ill health and my child has difficulties but we still have so much joy and happiness compared to others. So what if you can't afford the latest gadgets and gizmo's - who needs them anyway. Have a great day. I read this thread daily and find it such an inspiration. Well done Benben.

This morning my brother and bil are coming round to move the telly, other than that I need to do the food shopping as I forgot to order it yesterday :rolleyes: I also need to get some more pressie wrapping done as I didn't get very far with that either last night

I must try to get some more wrapping done today too. I'm having a BB blitz at the moment though as I've saved most of the last three lots of bonus to play in one big bingo-fest this morning!!

Well I'm knackered again tonight I went out with friends from work last night, didn't get to bed til midnight and have felt sluggish all day. I've been coughing all day, my throat is very sore too. After school tonight we had swimming and having sorted dinner etc I have just had a bath and put my pj's on, and am feeling a bit better now

3 more days to go at school now, ds has his school party tomorrow, I'm almost counting down the hours now

Me too!!!!
I don't work Wed now though as I go to college then, but that finished last week, so off to Bristol shopping tomorrow....woohoo. Am so completely knackered too...roll on Fri:D It's our work party then too, if I can stay awake:rolleyes:

Hi Milly, yep its our works do on friday too, the kids go at 2pm, we'll be let out at 2.30 and we're booked in for a meal at 3 followed by hitting the pub by about 5.30 for one hell of a long evening :eek: :eek: :beer: :beer:

Another day done, only 2 more get ups til the holidays :rolleyes: My throat seemed to be clearing up but has come back with a vengeance today, am getting really fed up of it now

I really need to sort out a few presents tonight to drop off tomorrow. Really don't feel like it, jsut want to jump into bed but hey ho My new calendar was delivered via m&s yesterday (half-price ) so I want to start getting some bits put on there to make me feel a bit more organised towards the new year. I don't remember the last time I thought about anything moneymaking either I don't know how xmas makes everything quite so chaotic but I can't wait for it to all calm down and start getting back to normality again

Sorry to hear your throat is poorly again - Vitamic C and echinacea if you have some. Hot honey and lemon before bed might help too.

Evening all Finally my throat is feeling a lot better, I'm still coughing but nowhere near as much as I was. Today was fine at work, I got a take that cd in the secret santa, very pleased with that While I was at school Mum popped in and did some houseowrk for me, she knew I hadn't been feeling well and thought she'd help out a bit, bless her, its so kind as she already has so much to deal with with my Dad

I've had my bath and am now trying to think what I need to get ready for tomorrow; I need my stuff for work, ds stuff for school, ds stuff to take to mums for a sleepover, my stuff for xmas party after work, stuf for another secret santa, stuff for a homeless shelter collection at school ... hmm, may start loading the car tonight :rolleyes:

Ah, at last, only one more get up before the holidays, think I might go and have a Baileys or two to celebrate Oh and the only moneymaking related thing to report today was 10p on the scratchies ...
