Morning all, sorry for not posting yesterday, went straight out after work and wasn't sober enough when I got home :o

So finally its the holidays :j :j We went out for a lovely meal after work then hit the pub, had a good night and feel fine this morning, so all is good! Luckily a freind decided to drive so I didn't have to spend anything on taxis, but I still spent more than enough on drinks :o

I found out yesterday that ds best friends mum was crying when she toook her son to school. When she took him to school on tuesday she returned home to find a note on her kitchen table from her husband telling her he'd left .... they have 3 kids, ages 6,3 and nearly 1, been together 18 years   I feel terrible for her as I know exactly what she's going through now and you wouldn't wish it on anyone, ever :o:o Her family aren't local either, poor poor lady, why do men do it??

Anyhow, back to today, I have so much tidying, cleaning, shopping etc etc to sort out its daft, although I do now have 2 weeks to do it all in so its not so bad ;) The only thing I have arranged now before xmas is waiting in for the electricity meter man on monday, how exciting :D

  • That is awful benben- how can anyone justify that?

Ladypink ... I did see it and was tempted, but have no-one to give it to and can't justify it for myself, so I was good and passed on that one :D

Tigz & Bob ... I will call her today and arrange when to go and see her, I don't like to just turn up, but I also remember how much it meant to me when people helped me :o I don't know them that well, its always just been polite chitchat when dropping the kids off etc, but I will never understand what can make anyone just walk away from their kids and family, and to not even have the guts to tell her to her face, soooo cowardly :o:o What kind of a Christmas is she going to have now??

  • The poor love and you to( for having been through it all)- I expect she will be just on auto pilot at the moment and trying to keep it all together for the kids.

I think listening is probably best at first...take your cues off her and let her know that you are there for her. Good luck with it benben as it can also bring horrible memories back for you as well. xx

What is it about watching Wife Swap that makes me want to get on with housework?? Theres always one house thats immaculate, and I always think 'I'd love to live somewhere that clean and tidy', so that is going to become a bigger priority. In order to make it happen I need to (a) have a good clearout (b) sort out storage a bit more ;)
