In the press yesterday my local Ford dealers were advertising the same deal on KA's £4995 for basic model and £5695 for one with power steering.

Don't understand this as they have fitted power steering to all models for a few years now as standard.

It also says to ask about free insurance.

did it say the start date?
just looked on their website and it has the more expensive prices 7k upwards

Just looked on Autobytels website and it says that the 1.3i ka, the basic one at £4996 + Metalic paint does have power sterring, can any one confirm this ?
Also have seen an ad for a local ford dealership offering a 1.3i 16v for £5495 http://www.gkford.co.uk/newcars_ford.htm is this a better deal?

I don't know and don't care. I only ask if I'm interesting in buying a particular car. Musts for me are central locking, electric windows and power steering, oh and CD player!!!
