Hi there, is there any way to know where i can find out when cheap tickets will open up for 14th-15th may newcastle - london?
Prices do seem silly for this far in advance.
Thank you:beer:0 -

Just go to https://www.eastcoast.co.uk and on the home page it shows the current date for tickets. You can request an email for your date in the future.
The tickets are usually available from about noon every Thursday."If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools"

Hi, I'm quite train savvy and have managed to get some pretty good deals in the past.
I'm travelling on the 24th May and I've got my eye on when the advance tickets will be put out but even so tickets seem to have gone up so much. In the not so distant past I've been able to get singles for £19 but now I can't see anything for less than £49. I'd not done the Megatrain thing before and just had a look at their site. Just picking randon dates over the next month or so I am not getting a train offers, only buses (and yes, I'm on the train site). I'm worried if I leave it too late, banking on getting a megatrain ticket and I can't get one then I'll be too late for an advance on other websites.
Any advice?
Thanks0 -
Oo, ignore my last post. Just tried the virgin best fare finder and it's coming up trumps for the day before my travel £20. So I'll be on there tomorrow!! Thanks anyway.0

There is no megatrain service from Glasgow to London - that's why you can't find any. If there were I think they only come out 6 weeks ahead.0

Strange, I thought there was a megatrain from glasgow using virgin trains.0
