No. buy at a station if you like.

Must buy Advance Singles before 6pm on the day before travel.

There is nothing so cheap until much later.

Am looking for a return ticket for 2 adults on 18th July from Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo at approx 13.00 hrs, returning on the 21st July to leave london at around 12 noon

I am unsure whether the cheap tickets have come on sale yet

Any help greatly appreciated

Advance Singles are available for July. You can do the outward journey for £40 (both of you) departing at 12.26, and the return for £26 departing at 12.20, total £66 for both of you.

Have you considered Megatrain?

They don't run on this route on Sundays, but tickets for your return leg are £12. Plus 50p booking fee.... that's total for the two of you.
Dep Waterloo 12:20, arr Exeter StD 15:42.

Why Waterloo? Paddington is a lot faster and not necessarily more expensive.

On random dates in August I found a total of £90 ish for your group. To Paddington. So yes there are cheaper fares.

If you want any more help you'll need to be rather more specific as to dates.
