Haven't been around for a while.....busy selling my house & now waiting for it all to go through...so been a bit busy. Have been generally doing okay though.
Can you put me down for £400 for September please....this is for 2 adults, 3 children, includes all packed lunches, cleaning stuff, toiletries & contact lens solutions...oh & food of course:rotfl:
It's a 5 week month for us.
Have had my 1st spend....went to Lidl (using £5 voucher fromt he Daily Star:money:) and spent £29.14 (including big box washing powder, bag of pull ups - for DD at night, and 24 Charmin loo rolls!!!) Then went to Mr T for the stuff I couldn't get at Lidl - spent £60.82. Was really pleased as I stuck to my list & only went to the aisles I needed to go to:T. Would normally have spent around £110 on my 1st shop of the month, so was pleased to only spend £89.96 in total!!20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

Good luck everyoneDebt free from April 2012:T:T:T:T:j:j:j:j0 -
Please put me down Mrs M for a FAIL for August and £350 for September.
This is generous but is to include everything (i.e including the two items i want for the house from Argos that have money off at the moment).
I have been on holiday this week and its been difficult to plan / shop etc. Lots of snacks/meals out and unplanned shops to the supermarket at the last minute spending no doubt unnecessary pennies!!! Oh well back to normal soon so hope to get back on track.

I have written my menu plan for September pretty much, now need to write the shopping list and go and buy the food and other bits tomorrow - it's pay day today hooray. Menu plan is a good one I reckon and should keep us fairly full and hopefully under budget with some new meals to keep dp interested. I'm aiming to have all of our lunches come out of the budget this month too - don't know whether I will succeed on this one but I'm going to try.Sealed pot member 735

Please could I join in the September challenge? Last month I was just counting my receipts and was horrified at how much we spent- I thought we were doing ok but it's all the 'top-up' shops that add up!
I would like to aim for £120 for attentionseeker1 for two adults and a kitten, which would be a reduction by a third  on what we spent last month!0 -
