I was thinking I might set myself a challenge with in this challenge iykwim
Can you say some store/freezer items say 5 or 6 and I'll see what I can cook up with them, but not too weird eh.
Had no spends today not going to the shops, got some plums off the tree, but they are either not riping but roting instead, or ripening so fast that I don't get to use them, any suggestions would be welcome

I would have thought so - as they are new pots it might be better to use them in chunks. If they are floury pots they will blend better to thicken.
I bought these pots too and they are great 10mins in microwave with small amount of water to steam and they're done!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Hi all,
I'm not sure if this will have been mentioned a million times elsewhere but has anyone ever bought one of the half lambs you can get at a butchers?
I've seen a half Welsh lamb for £26 in the butchers in town and I was wondering if that seemed a half decent deal or would I be better shopping around?
Thankies/Diolch

Just got back from my weekly shop - Mr S this week instead of Mr Ts as it next door to the hairdressers (roots done at long last!).
Spent £42 but that did include some toiletries and a few bits for the freezer - I would have liked it to be nearer £30 but hey ho!
Have mealplanned for the week so should have everything we need - famous last words!
Must try very hard to be good this month as I have lots of expected expenses coming up.
Off to change sig now...0 -

DH went shopping for meat today and has spent £20.50 on a large piece of pork for Sunday and a tray of mince from our local butchers at £4 a kilo. It is very lean so there will be no wastage. I am making chilli con carne with mince for tonights dinner, using lots of baked beans to bulk it out for 5 men and me.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
