well my weekly challenge didnt go to well, i went over by £2.57. at least i know now what i spend my money on....dinner at work, then after work i see all the offers that go thru the til so i buy those, even tho i have already done a shop for the week! So next week im gonna put in for £20 again, take dinner to work and not take my purse with me! thats the plan annyway!
Went to Lloyds today to see about getting a balance transfer or a low LOB, and they cant give me one, only if im transfering my debt from another CC company boooooo so im gonna use some links on here and try and get a good deal. :)

oh well that was quick, i wasnt accepted for a balance tranfer! nevermind, will carry on as i am, cos ill be debt free by October so not too long to wait
  • February is the first month im properly living off my budget, transfering money from my internet saver to my normal account when i need it, managed to spend £25 going out Friday and Saturday last week and i was nicely drunk!!!
bad news is that my toilet seat broke and my 5 year old microwave finally died but ive found one in Argos with £20 off making it only £39 so picking that up tomorrow.
Got £9 in teaco vouchers today n all, there must be a thread somewhere about how best to use them to get your moniesworth, will have a look tomorrow.
Oh and weekly spend challenge s going well n all :)
  • Only £2.77 left of my weekly spend, night out tomorrow but thats already budgeted for and taking dinner to work tomorrow and Friday should be a NSD with any luck. Im saving the change from my weekly spends to pay for a Sunday roast at a nice pub somewhere.
The social loan will be paid for next month, cant wait to get rid of that one, £50 a week will then be thrown on the Credit card, will be nice to see that go down quicker.
Ive been going by the snowball to pay off my debts and decided to go down the interest route, only because after not seeing my credit card budge for about 2 years its now nice to see it go down over £100 at a time.
Nothing else to report apart from my sister is cooking me tea :)

the tea was nice thanx, even though i had to talk her through how to make it, also she left me with the pots!!!

I'll let her know youre missing her, shes started her facebook back up again which is probably why she isnt on here as much anymore!

My weekly spend went well this week, im left with £2.77 to throw in the pub meal pot!
I went out Thursday, and still have £12 left in my going out 'pot' for this month, i have no nights out planned at the mo cos im off to Magaluf next month (already paid for, spending money already saved) so im trying to hold out til then!

Nothing much else to report, will be back when something exciting happens...lol
  • i switched to British Gas smart energy last week, its great, i get to check my usage online and cut back if i have to, also i got a free energy thingy, cant think of the word, anyway it tells me how much electricity im using, its still fun to watch it shoot up when i out the kettle on...lol im sure that will wear off soon!!

oh and change of plan, i was gonna pay the minius on everything but now im gonna pay off the smaller debts, then in a few months i'll only have my Credit card and overdraft left, it wont take me any longer to pay off my debts but i suppose it'll make me feel better, also will see what interest goes on the card each month and pay that too, then at least it is going somewhere.

Ive put in £20 for the weekly challenge again this week, its half term but im in work all week so hopefully wont have much to spend.

    Thats about it!
