we had a great day out thanx, used my free family rail card that i got from the Daily Mail via this site
Train fare was £4.30 instead of £7.50. Went a cafe for dinner, they have a garden out the back you can eat in and they have owls and a goat, rabbits, ducks and there were some little ducklings as well, told the kids it was a mini zoo ha ha!
Then we went to the park and because the kids had been naughty on the train they didnt get an ice cream which saved a few pennies but created more tears! Ended up spending just short of £15.
Last night i got my first ever online shop delivered, it was cool, defo doing that again. It came when the kids were in bed so they werent under my feet trying to see what treats we had...fab
Off to the meat market tomorrow to get the meat for the week, might give Lloyds a ring in the morning about the credit card if i remember, i can only try0 -
Not so good things!
1, didnt ring about credit card
2, spent £15 yesterday on meat for the week and sweets for the [STRIKE]kids[/STRIKE] (as i wrote that remebered a got some for myself, them old beer bottle ones...thats breakfast sorted...lol)
3, just got poo on my finger after taking my sons nappy off him from bedtime
4, the house is a mess, gonna have to tackle it at some point.
Good things
1, decided to tidy a room at a time, if i can move onto the next then great, might find some stuff to ebay, ya never know?
2, only have to buy gravy today
3, beer bottles are nice!
4, gonna go for a walk after tea, even if its just round the park so the kids can play.
Went to my friends BBQ yesterday and got fed :T so that was tea sorted.
Did my snowball last night, if i use £200 a month on my debts i can be debt free by May 2011but when my mobile contract is up in November i can add £20 to that, and when ive paid off my social loan next March i can add £50 to it n all, bringing my debt free date forward quite a bit :T
Off to see N-dubz on Saturday in St Helens with my sister and the kids, tickets have already been bought and i should only have to give my sister a tenner for petrol i reckon, will make sandwiches to take so i dont spend anything there (wont be spending money on one of them daft hats!). Need to pay my childcare bill this week n all, £358! luckily being a single parent i get most of that paid for me but its all coming out this week
Nothing much else to report i dont think, will let you know how i get on with tidying, i think i need to get on to the flylady thread and let them sort me out!0 -
Happy Sunday
I know what you mean about the housework, I've done some this am but just can be bothered.
Sound like you had a good day outand a lovely BBQ.
Make it a goal to phone about the CC tomorrow0 -
Good things
1, sorted out my ebay account after it was hacked a couple of years ago
2, went thru my wardrobe and found 10 items, still with tags on! so ive put one on ebay already!
3, paid my childcare bill on time after careful budgeting last week :T
4, been to netto and spent £7 on a few bits instead of a fortune in tesco :T
Not so good things
1, still havent rang about my credit card and asking to stop interest
2, told the kids they cant go anywhere on the train cos they were naughty, infact, ive only £30 to last till Monday so they cant anyway!
So i managed to get my Ebay sorted and my paypal, gonna list an item a day till i get the hang of it cos i will get confused otherwise! I did it a while ago and i remember when 5 things finished at the same time i worried i would send the wrong thing to the wrong person!
Supposed to be going to see N-dubz this Saturday (im not a chav honest:cool:, the tickets were just cheap!) and thats going to cost me at least £10 before i get there ofr petrol. So hoping i can have some NSD's now i will be fine. Also supposed to be off out for a mates 30th when we get back but not sure if im gonna go
goals for the rest of this week
1, have a go at the free scratch cards
2, live from the freezer and the food cupboard cos i know ive got plenty
3, Tidy up!!!
Not so sure about the last one happening!0 -

finally rang up about asking to freeze the interest on my credit card but they cant unless i stop paying and it goes to collectors which i dont want so i guess i'll just carry on paying it, nevermind. Also just looked online at my bank and found £250 in there from tax credits, back dated from the last couple of weeks i guess since my childcare amount has changed.
Put £80 in my bills account to cover whats going out next week. Not gonna think about the rest cos i thought i only had £30 to last me till next Monday so will try to stick to the budget i already set myself.
Oh and i have 1 watcher on my ebay item, will be listing another one in a bit0 -
