Not anywhere I've seen it..... but I won't eat it anyway because of the way it used to be produced. I know that the animal conditions are supposed to have improved, but I still don't think it's humane. I may not be able to afford to buy organic and/or free range, but I can certainly afford to veto those I personally don't agree with.

Actually meant I had to go vegetarian for a lot of my honeymoon - I didn't discover until after we arrived in Italy that, where a recipe calls for mince, they use veal as a norm

Veal is a bye product of the milk industry ,cows have to have calves every year to produce milk,if they produce a bull calf it is of no use and would have been shot and disposed of within a few days unless raised for its meat as veal .Calves used to be crated tokeep the meat pale ( and still is in some countries) here our veal is classed as 'pink' because the animals are not crated ..If you think veal is unethical you need to rethink using milk

They reckon the new most energy efficient ones are as cheap as hand washing (for a full load).
How can that be? when the stuff you put in them equates to about £12 a week and handwashing uses no electricity and a bottle of Fairy which lasts for weeks costs 98p ?????????????

    No it doesn't

A bag of salt is cheap & lasts ages.

The rinse aid liquid isn't essential (most of the tablets have rinse aid built in now), so I buy the cheapest as its an "extra".

The tablets are always on offer somewhere. I got the Fairy 30 tabs (I think) BOGOF in Waitrose the other week. That will last me about a month. They were about £9.00.

So about £2.50 a week (all in) & you can get much cheaper tablets/powder/liquid if you want.

Plus electric. But they reckon the new ones use the same water as hand washing (a full load).
