will be really interesting to see if they ever wash up
; although times have moved on from my days and they probably have a dishwasher they might still pile it up! I worked with a girl (eng student) a few years back who was sharing a house with 4 boys. They all got on really well but she had decided to look for another place - she was tired of having to remove new life forms from the mug before she could have a cuppa :rotfl:
All boymen I dread to think! Maybe they should do a joint show with Kim and Aggie :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

and they probably have a dishwasher
It's not an appliance that many people I know actually have..... in fact, I'd go so far as to say the only person I ever visit who has one is my brother!!!Cheryl0 -
Ah yes, washing up. When I first met hubby, he had a bottle of washing up liquid that his mum had bought him 18 months before and it was still half full! :eek:0

One of my best friends lives in a "student house", they have just moved to an old one which is kept spotless (relatively for 4 boys)
The last one - I was scared to wash my hands in the bathroom! Euck! The amount of times i would clean the living room and look all innocent when they came back into the room . I literally couldn't sit in it like it was ! In fact, I even went as far as rearranging their living room - with their help of course. Within days it was ganky and messy. Gross !A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

But I'd do them by flattening them down and frying them in a frying pan in about 1/4" of oil ... otherwise I would be using oil overload and then having to find a way to re-use it and a 2nd bottle to keep it in until I needed to use oil again. I only do any frying with oil about once a month, when I use about a teaspoon of it.
I made them in the oven this week.
I used that new spray oil (Philip Berrier or something like that). I sprayed the oven tray, then put the bhajis on the tray, then sprayed the tops of the bhajis.
Like you, I don't deep fry.0 -
I, on the other hand, would doubt very much that they do. If they're in rented accomodation promoted as student digs, then I wouldn't have thought it would have more than the bare minimum? We rented a house in 2001/02 which was promoted and priced as a 'better equipped' property for a family - and that didn't have one, nor did it have anywhere I could have put one had I wanted to.

They reckon the new most energy efficient ones are as cheap as hand washing (for a full load).0 -

I couldn't do that, I can give up fat no problem, but not carbs.0 -

I used to say that, but it's brilliant. Even for a veggie like me
OH had chips with his steak last night and I wasn't even slightly fazed. Neither of us bothered with the bread either.:A MSE's turbo-charged CurlyWurlyGirly:AThinks Naughty Things Too Much Clique Member No 3, 4 & 5
