    pudding: really? The woman I spoke to let me book.. Perhaps they are no longer doing it on the phone as they have realised there was a general problem on the website, and not only certain individuals having problems.. Sorry.

    Same happened for me. I tried to book and had to do school run and then now that I am back home the site is off line. Hope that it will be ok. Is anyone able to book over the phone still
  • I've been trying to call them since 9.30 but i've just been getting automated message which is now saying to call back tomorrow :(

  • yep i just tried to call and it gave out the automated message saying to call back tomorow. If they are having probs with the website too- wonder when this will be fixed- ive been through and gave the site my card details too many times to mention now and each time it just goes back to the beginning- so am assuming i dont have tickets!
    Now im debt free i want to be fat free too!
  • For the first time since midnight it actually said processing order, then I assume the page after that is the confirmation page:confused:.

    Don't want to try this anymore incase the payment has already gone through, and I thought getting Billy Connolly tickets was bad (that took 2 days and over 700 phone call attempts :rotfl:)

    Can anyone tell us what happens when you are properly booked please?!

    I managed to get to choose my timeslot antered my payment details and then the page went back to the opening page asking you to log in to your grotto account:confused:

    I'm guessing that means it's not gone through but am anxious as I had submitted my payment details.

    Hi this happened to me twice as well. The third time it took me to another page where I had to click on "proceed with booking" or something like that then it gave a "do not press back button" warning and went off and thought about it for a while. Never got a confirmation page but when I logged back in there were my reservation details with a note saying only one booking per customer was allowed this year. So looks like it will let you know at that stage if the payment has been taken. Definitely worth persevering, took me 2 hours but my kids will be thrilled!

    just phoned the grotto again and got straight through 020 7893 8877. kind man checked my details and they did go through. YAY!!!
