And I apologise if I have offended or upset anyone - although I do think that people are quick to jump on the 'she's nasty / he's bullying' bandwagon just because they have differing opinions. Some people are too sensitive, but in the same tone I suppose some people are too opinionated.

I am a firm believer in saying what you think and feel, and have never lost a friend through being that way.

Yes I am sarcastic, I'm the first to admit it - it's the way I am, and I have no intentions of changing.

I'm now going to read threads and try to appreciate that other people's opinions are as important as mine

Lots of love to you all x

In these cases I think honesty is the best policy. Just say "Sorry but I won't be coming. Things are tight financially for me at the moment so I make a point of never putting myself in situations where I could be embarrassed and forced to spend money I haven't got".
