Railcard woes - family asked to leave train
Comments
-
I had my YP railcard from HSBC when i converted my a/c to student a/c with my best mate. Whilst i elected for the 5 year railcard my mate took the £50 cash.
When we went to London to to go the American embassy my mate prebooked tickets on Virgin using his "YP railcard" which i told him that Virgin will ask for it. He didnt believe me.
When the train manager asked to see his card, my mate got charged a full standard retun which cost a lot of money;.
He had only himself to blame - all for the sake of trying to save around £15.
I have no sympathy for anyone who forgets there railcard!!! (same as people who prebook a train and then think i'l travel on this train and wonder why their train ticket is invalid):beer:In My 'Permanant' Pre-Masters Gap Year
