It drives me mad when companies like this advertise on tv, and Brighthouse sponsors Home and Away. They've really got their target audience sussed and know how to reel them in.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

I talked my friend out of getting a laptop from there cause it would cost a fortune as he was only going to pay £7pw would have took about 3 years to pay off

I cringe everytime the brighthouse ad is on the telly.

Its like "Hey, lets buy stuff we cannot afford and blatanty live above our means!!!"

God it really annoys me people who passionately hate the telly.

I have a busy life with work, hobbies, seeing friends and spending time with my other half yet I still watch about 15 hours of TV a week. Does that make me a saddo? I dont think so.

At the end of the evening after seeing friends or doing some exercise I stick the telly on for a couple of hours to watch big brother with my girlfriend or play my xbox. Its how I relax.

I don't "passionately hate" them, I just don't have one or want one. Had one once then got a life.

The ones that sponsor Home and Away are terrible, 'you can't have a great beachside lifestyle in the sun, never mind, have this materialistic crap instead, that'll make you feel better'.

Please don't use Brighthouse, they deliberately prey on people on low incomes or with a bad credit rating. You pay way over the odds, several times over for the items they sell.

Join Freecycle, I've often seen tellys up for grabs for free. Try the ads in the local papers, try your local gumtree online. if you can get a tv cheap to keep you going til you can save up for a HD one then that really would seem the easiest thing to do. if you already have other debts clear them first before thinking about splashing out on a new telly.

BrightHouse add on what they call optional service cover which bumps up the price!!

(if you don't have Home Contents cover - that will add to your bill too!!!)

My suggestion is 14" tv from Argos £70.00 whilst you save up for what you want. Least you get a years guarantee.

People who watch telly dont have a life?

What makes you think you have more of a life than a telly watching random like myself?
