i sent in my cv and they wrote back declining my application and said they thought i was too over qualified for the job

Definately not typical - McDonalds actually has controls for washing up - right down to how much of each particular substance to use for each of the three sinks. Good on her for reporting this shoddy store.
Defnitely report it, McDonalds are really hot on their franchisees following protocol, it is their brand after all.0 -
Im sorry sorry sorry i forgot about this thread and answering it no he didnt get the job after all because they wanted him to work very late evenings (its 24 hour) and it would have affected his A levels at college. He wanted maybe saturdays and sundays but theses were already taken so it was just night shifts in the week which wernt any good. Sorry for not updating i know im a plonker lol xx0
