Dragon's Den's better for pressing down hard - WDYTYA would be 'softer' if you get my drift...

    tonight I must
    • clean the cat litter tray -
    • wash the pots dry the pots and put the pots away (I really hate the last two)
    • make sandwiches for BLACKPOOL trip
    • put utility bill in handbag to get wristbands (because I have a paper licence not a photo ID one) when we get to BLACKPOOL
    • price up passports and post forms
    • write and post sympathy cards
    • reply to Rosey's e mail
    • tidy handbag and purse
    that'll do for now...
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

not sure if this counts but still getting used to all this. So far this week I have:
spent 5 hrs cleaning DD's room
filled 2 bin bags with old clothes for recycling
    cleaned fridge/freezer
    decluttered and organized kithchen
tidied main bedroom (needs to be re-organized)
mulled in bathroom(I lost motivation and just mopped)

For a first week and desperate to put right much neglect I didn't think that was bad

Thanks Soappie. My retirement date is 28th August. I had asked to work my last day and have a little do with the clients. She put me night shift the night before but got her to change it. I decided to work a month after my birthday so everything is in place financially.
    .

Well done on changing you night shift on the night before. That wasn't nice of her. I shall make a note in my diary :D

Evening ladies - no flying yet today as been at work all day then had a snooze before tea and then caught up on here, well I had to find my list :D

elf - thx for recipe looks good to me
DDD - Hope you feel better soon, and if it is anything else hope its what you wanted.
GNB - good news for you with the extra money
Johanne - just to add. I split with my ex when DS was only just 5, he's 17 now and is really good 'mates' with his dad as they always did the boys playing stuff. I never had time as I was always cooking cleaning washing ironing etc, but he sooo loves his mum for what I did for him. He's already told me he'll remember the chocolate muffins I use made and how the boys would beat him up (playfully) to try ang get them as they were jealous, and my sunday lunches which he cant wait to get home for, and he is more than happy to give his mum a big hug. Pumpkin will love you and remember you for being a good mum x
soappie - Hope DD recovers quickly, and thanks for the update on Toots(massive hugs for toots)
Jo - well done on building the drawers - I love to achieve 'man' stuff
AnW's mum - same rules on food here
lbnblbnb - I know how you feel about depression, my OH suffers too (but wont admit to calling it that) He's on a downer at the moment awaiting results of a brain scan he had to have yesterday for problems he's been suffering since Jan, and now his work have decided to send him on a load of courses he doesnt think he will pass
nikflo - it must be hard with little one not eating but dont be hard on yourself, and as for flying, if you want to cheer yourself up do a search for the pics I posted a few weeks back, made a few people feel a bit more chilled about their stys
mudbath - hope the Sf disappears from your household quickly, and yours too mummyof5
