I always do mine at the last minute ... which is fine until you have a problem like soappie's (or discover that the place you normally go to has closed downand everywhere else is booked up)
Oooooh I spot Le Creuset.:T:T:Dhi everyone, have been building my drawers and working on my bedroom, getting there slowly but surely.
I need to clean, the state of the house is getting me down as Ive done the bare minimum for days.
Am going to fly for a couple of hours and then sit down and work on the applications. That way Im not sitting with piles of carp around me!
xx
I can't do job applications if the place is a mess, so I have to fly first...
Had a lovely time on my cake decorating day today. I hope to have a picture on FB for you later today!
I also had a call to say that I've got through to the next stage for the job, so have another interview tomorrow afternoon  I'm going to have to do some serious swotting to be able to blag my way through this one. They also wanted to book the final interview for next week, but unfortuately the time they suggested is the one time I can't do... Still, it's a good sign that they wanted to do this before the next interview had been done, and it gives me the weekend to start preparing.
I've got a friend coming round later, so need to have a quick tidy, grab some supper and put a bottle of wine in the fridge! I'll catch up with you all later.
xx_Jo_xx - I've emailed you
soappie - thanks for the update on toots
mudbath - hope you all feel better soon and stripes doesn't drive you all nuts!
dusty - I had grommets (admittedly when I was tiny, so I don't remember anything about it), but they haven't caused me any problems since, apart from a telling off from the nurse when I forgot to tell her that I didn't have intact eardrums (well, I'd forgotten, I was 2 months old when it was done!). My hearing since has always been fantastic - in fact I can hear mobile phones charging which drives me to distraction
Hugs to all the poorly and miserable people. We need a bit of sun to cheer us all up!0 -

Your kids would hate it here then! No dinner/lunch no pudding. It's amazing how quickly it goes then. If they refuse a meal then they get nothing else and I don't reheat either if they have let it go cold. Kids will not let themselves starve, be tough with them

My answer because i can work it term time and its 18 grand a year may not get me the job but it would back up my honesty !!!!!! Officially Debt Free Nov 2012 :beer:0 -

I was told by a previous employer that saying you need the money is a good thing because it shows that you need to work and are therefore less likely to just walk out!! Not sure that saying you want the money and hols is quite the same thing thoughEmma
