Nikflo my son is a very fussy eater and hardly eats a thing. His best meal of the day is always breakfast and as long as he eats that i don't worry too much.
He will not eat anything tomato based and actually throws up if he puts it in his mouth. He will occaisionally eat pasta doesn't really like potato either chipped boiled or mashed but will eat the homemade wedges but refuses vegetables every time. He does eat fruit and dairy though.
He loves Knorr Minestrone soup and homemade bread (i make animal shapes from the cheesy bread) and wants garlic dip with most foods. I do make alot of my own stuff such as pizza and chicken nuggets fish fingers which he will eat. He would if given the option eat Yorkshire pudding with onion gravy for every meal and my mum in law always makes extra on a sunday which i then take home and freeze.
He likes sausages but will only eat the Richmond ones and says the walls ones taste yukky mummy
My son is not underweight and is in my opinion a little overweight which i am keeping my eye on got his mothers genes i'm afraid.
Just keep doing what your doing and she will eat eventually and if she is running around she has the energy from somewhere. friends2.gif

Anyways i have done nothing other than make poms poms and dance routines up for dd and 2 nieces. My house isn't bad as i did lots and lots on Monday. I have to make some tea but i am thinking beans on toast with a poached egg...mmmmm my favourite. Also nice and easy,

I am quite pished off. I now work 3 days instead fo 5 and the cover hasn't been cleaning right so i have been pulled up and asked to go back to 5 days apparently they prefer my cleaning and can tell when i have not worked. I have asked to go back to 5 days when the school holidays have finished as i am enjoying getting some night time reading in with the kids , they have agreed!
You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !

Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?

Quick update - both children diagnosed with SF and pretty yuck with it. I reckon DH and I only have bad colds as we're not too bad at all. Spotty dog is going slowly mad as she's not allowed long walks and we can't take her out at the moment anyway.

No flying done and no prospect of really doing any so will post some time next week.

Massive hugs to everyone especiall Jo, Tootles and LL.

    Speak soon xx

nickflo - don't worry about what they eat, know that's hard. My DS, now 21, was an aboslute nightmare as a baby and child with food. He was nearly two before he would eat anything but pureed food!! Very, very fussy, did my head in.

He's now 6'4" tall size 14 feet and eats a bucketful more than a pig :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Jo - glad we could do something to help. Just like I said last night to those thinking of not posting; we are a wonderful, sharing community :T

Special thanks to Rosepink, soappie and greenbee

  • Morning all

Been to hospital with DS3 for his hearing test today and his hearing is worse. Consultant wants to put grommets in but I'm not keen. Now feeling all tearful as he said it's best for DS3 but I'm worried

Dusty - my DS had severe ear problems and eventually grommits when he was 2. Happy to chat if that would help - send me a PM?

Hugs though - not an easy decision.

    Moam

thank you every one for your kind words, guess i shouldn't come on at lunch time as thats when life is rubbish!

it's good to hear others with kids who refused to eat are eating now, i think it's got to the stage wher every one including me, is bored of it.

i'm sorry for going on and hogging the posts.

i have been for a walk with both girls and their tea is now in the oven, i know i over reacted before and that was wrong i just thought it sounded like i give my kids cakes when they don't eat. i don't i have to hide in the kitchen stuffing my face so they don't see and want one!!

ok now every one can see what a sad case i am!!

many many thanks for listening and for taking the time to reply.

right back to the job in hand best get flying.

Hello lovely ladies!! I am feeling rather chipper as have had a productive morning, swam 50 lengths, freecycled 4 things (collected and gone!), made a menu plan/shopping list, went shopping, cooked and ate a very SW lunch, just off to start a chilli for tea and then think I'll slope off for a nap!rest.gif
