Had a message from Toots she says:

Tube insertion went OK but had a very bad night of pain etc. but I feel a bit easier now or maybe its the pain killers. Haven't eaten for 36 hours so that will help the weight loss. Still in bed but have been up. Cant wait to get tubes out xx

valli I hope things go smoothly too till I finish work. Still strange things happening though and always when Im on. Just letting it all go over my head though.
I am cross for you Boddy - not nice when you are preparing to go...
Once again G&B I'm sending positive vibes and the very best wishes for your DD. She has to put up with a bloomin lot doesn't she. :( I hope this latest op goes really well for her. :)

I have to say i am really chuffed to bits when i complete a days cleaning as for me that was a challenge. I love the comments when people come and they notice i have cleaned because they really do notice apart from my mum who if i clean the kitchen says 'yeah it will look better when you done the living room' grr I love getting the stars i feel like i have achieved something which i have xx
Ooh I really hate it when people do/say things like that - it's as if they're saying 'still not good enough'. my Mum, bless, remarks that Valli Towers is clean. I used to get - "well it really needed it" :rotfl: so at least, when it DID need cleaning she was keeping her mouth shut (mind you her sockets/light switches need wiping - ssh...:rotfl:)

Now if someone can lend me a crowbar to remove large teens from sofas I could clean my lounge...

SC is on with chicken carcass in it, and I just need to empty the TD and deal with the contents (it was on because the washing was still on when I left this morning, so it was still wet when I got back...)

Email has now (finally) been sent!

runs off to boil chicken carcass for soup...

hi everyone, have been building my drawers and working on my bedroom, getting there slowly but surely.

I need to clean, the state of the house is getting me down as Ive done the bare minimum for days.

Am going to fly for a couple of hours and then sit down and work on the applications. That way Im not sitting with piles of carp around me!

    xx
:)Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying:)

Hugs to everyone feeling rotten today x

Johanne - That must feel really rubbish, but in a way, you are giving your DD her holiday. You could have been selfish and dug your heels in out of spite like many would have (I must admit, I would be sorely, oh so sorely tepmted in your position) but you have bitten the bullet to allow her a lovely trip because you are a great mum. She will see that one day too ;)

Pen Pen - Your before picture looks like my cupboard! Every now and again I tidy it so it looks like you after, then a couple of days later... But I can't blame kids - it's my fault for being to lazy to bend down and put things away properly... Well done on getting stuck in and straightening them out :T

Not sure I will get much flying done today. More to do with laziness tbh (feeling a bit low today - feel like a right minger with my post-baby body and everything) but perhaps I will pick up after lunch time. Am allowing a bit of self-indulgent brooding as I think the right amount can do us good sometimes to get it over with  DD is watching a DVD and baby asleep so taking a bit of quality time with my lap-top ;)

My mil once pointed out that I had missed a spot when I wiped the benches down. Another time, when they called unannounced, I had been sorting out recycling so had stuff on the benches ready to take out (there was a lot!) I discovered that while I had been talking to mil in the living room, my fil had bagged up all of the recycling and dumped it in thewheelie bin outside as the mess was obviously offending him. As if I just usually leave groups of empty tins, bottles and papers all over my benches lol! Was very p'ed, but diplomatically kept my mouth shut :A
