No - not at all :confused::confused:

I hotp that you feel better later - it is not fun looking after chidren when you feel rubbish.

I was worried that I might have been too forthright about your DD last night... plus I sent you a PM..... did you get it? :)

I do feel rotten today, but to be the fair, the children are being fab, particularly DD1, it's my mother that's the demanding one!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rolleyes::rotfl::rotfl:

we've got to shop for our week away at her caravan. It's filthy, cold weather here today, and the thought of shlepping round the supermarket with the children and my mother fills me with horror!!!

Bless my DD1, she's sat and meal planned with me, and is now making a shopping list for the ingredients. :T:T:T:T

OK Cleaned out and refilled bird feeders, did 10 minutes in garden, did yesterday's washing up, checked emails etc from yesterday, emptied briefcase from yesterday, switched handbags.

Had first :coffee:Think I have run out of excuses to avoid starting studying :o.
  • well i still feel rubbish but i have been out in the garden(thought the fresh air might help me) and gave it a quick sweep and the WM is finished now so i need to find somewhere to hang all the stuff to dry as it has just started chucking it down here!
off to have a few choccie biccies in the hope that something sweet might help - no idea why it might though as having some breakfast didn't!

I've started the bedroom too - well, the bedlinen is in the wash.

Penelope - keep posting your tally - gives me an incentive to keep going!

I am 100% in agreement with dusty, too. Let's celebrate our achievements.

Which in my case today, is one load of washing, and DS1 decluttered to a course - it sounds quite interesting, a music business course, covering acoustic sound recording, web design, all sorts of stuff, and it was FREE!!
Oh, Ive also spent an hour on the phone to my sister.

Coffee anyone?:coffee: Is that blueberry cake cool enough to eat yet???:D

When the rest of the family help with washing up, they just shove things into the cupboard - I'm going to print out the "after" pic and stick it to the fridge so they have no excuse :D

    Morning all,

Managed to get online yesterday morning, was just about to post to wish OrkneyStar a Happy Birthday and holiday and greenbee good luck for her interview, when my connection went. I tried both AOL route and Internet Explorer and nothing worked, so couldn't get online all day yesterday. Am accessing today through IE and that only worked when I turned the router off then on again! Stoopid AOL!!!! So, belated Happy Birthday to OrkneyStar and glad the interview went well greenbee.

As I couldn't get online, I decided to go off to the gym, but instead of taking the car, as it was nice day, I decided to walk the 1.5 miles there, swam 20 lengths and then walked 1.5 miles home again. The route I take goes along a canal, and I saw loads of wildlife today. I must have seen about 20 families of moorhens and koots (sp?) with little babies and also saw 2 families of mallards - one Mummy had 8 ducklings, and one was a lot bigger than the rest, so she must've been adopting! When I was walking home, a cormorant shot out from under the water with a fish in it's beak and flew off too!

I'm afraid that I overdid it with all of the exercise, and ended up falling asleep on the sofa whilst watching a film after lunch, so the only flying I did was to make sure that all of the dirty dishes were in the DW and that the clean washing was put away.

Off to check out what's on the list for today. I know it was the bedroom yesterday, and as I changed the sheets on Sunday night, I just aired the bed with the window open before remaking it. Will do all of the dusting and hoovering today as the bathroom floor could do with a hoover too.

    See you all later.

PS Loving the photos of doogies, biscuits and cupboards. Thanks for posting the link to the photo tutorial Penny - I'll have to have a go at trying that one day. I showed OH the undersink cupboard the other day and explained exactly why everything was in that particular order, so that he knows where to put things if he uses them.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
