    :bdaycake:Happy birthday orkneystar!!:bdaycake:

Morning ladies!! Beautiful sun today, so I'm hoping to find time to garden. OH is also up - he has the week off to continue the repairs etc to all the window frames. He did upstairs last year, and is doing the downstairs this week.

DD has an appointment later, and a freecycler is picking up a bookshelf later as well, but I don't have to be home for that - everyone else is!

I am going to do the livingroom, hall and stairs today, as that is what I feel like :p. I'll post DONE on the right day though!

I hope all our poorlies are feeling much better today.

Nearly finished Monday :D Bit tired today so not going to worry too much over finishing it :) Maybe at the weekend :) Been having lots of nightmares since Dh gone away this time so not getting much sleep :( Thank God he's home tomorrow night :D Hopefully be able to get some sleep then :)
Thanks to Ovenpride when I did my oven a month ago, it still looks brand new :D I just go over it with a bit of white vinegar every week to make sure it doesn't get into the state it was, I'm pretty sure no-one had cleaned it properly until I used the ovenpride as it was just covered in black stuff, all clean and shiny now though :D :j I :heart2: Ovenpride :D
Thank you for the idea's on chairs, I've seen some on the 'Wanted' posts on Freecycle so will put one up, thank you pigpen :)
Soappie do you know if they will hire them out for a day? I'm generally ok with normal day to day things, it's just days out to zoo's, theme parks etc that seem to drain me extra quick because there is sooo much going on around me.
Haven't caught up with what happened after I posted yesterday so will read that today and probably do catch up tomorrow lol :)
Hope everyone is well, *hugs* for all
Jo, hope everything went ok yesterday . Is the spreadsheet helping at the mo?
Mudbath sorry to hear about your kitty cat, I love mine dearly and don't know what I'd do without them (and they're only 10 months old now) Mum's cat is on his last legs now, struggles to jump so has to be lifted sometimes, although any cat owner would know, if you place a cat somewhere you can guarantee he wont stay there! Hope your all ok after the SF, *Hugs*

Thifty - pleased to have helped - for future reference they are always discounted by 75% this time of year and one of the packs I bought is identical to one I have had before. Two packs will be enough for me for the whole year. Do check for the packs with 180 in though! Some have far fewer!

Incidentally they also have (slightly) reduced project books - I hold - I desire BUT I RESIST:T:T:T

There is an extra 20% off from 10/8 - I got given a leaflet yesterday when I purchased something - not sure how I qualified for it mind.

Today I have spent a mixed day, nice morning in town with ds while his sister was at nursery but afternoon was a bit emotional. we emptied the loft of baby things yesterday eve and I spent last night sorting them. A realtive came round today and took most of it which made me feel glad that someone else would use it but really sad I would nt be having anymore babies (feel quite sad now too:() But then on otherhand it feels nice that our family is entering a new phase iyswim.
I also got ds his first pair of school shoes from Clarks and nearly cried at the sight of him in them- so grown up!

Some stages are hard to let go of sweetie so have a hug. I'm now at that relieved I've not got a baby/toddler anymore but was lucky enough to have 3 babies, I never felt 'done' after 2 so had kept all my stuff for 6 years whilst I worked on DH;)

Orkney Star have a very happy birthday and a wonderful holiday

Got quite a lot on today so plan is:

    S&S toilets and sinks
    put washing on the line
    hoover and mop downstairs
    reload WM

Not much time after that as I need to take the boys to the galleria for clothes/trainers and have a friend coming this afternoon and then cricket match this evening.

Off to find some parrots as AF is here giving me a hard time.

    Good Morning Ladies:hello:

I didn't get much chance to read up yesterday so the extra 10 pages that have appeared i will ctach up with later on this afternoon.

This morning i have an hospital apponitment then this afternoon i am going to the gym for the first time in 7 weeks:eek: although i think i may only do half of a gym and then have half an hour swimming? Will have to see how i feel.

So i think i may do my Living/Dining room today and then Master bedroom tomorrow!

Right ladies i better get my brood rounded up and ready to go!

    Take care

You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !

Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?

    Morning everyone,

    Happy Birthday Orkney Star

Valli - I also wouldn't let a child of under 16 stay overnight with no adult supervision. We have actually taken legal advice on this as part of the delightful child custody case and it only becomes prosecutable if they come to actual harm and they were left day or night without appropriate supervision. What we find with SS1 when left at his mothers is that it isn't his behaviour that is the issue, it is the actions of his friends who know he has the house to himself that he cannot control. NSPCC advice is not to leave a child under 16 unsupervised over night.

Stars etc. I like the stars, they do motivate me to get on and do extra bits I wouldn't normally bother with. I do do some substituting though rather than repeat tasks 4 days apart, etc. Not fussed about extra lists, challenges etc. If I have time and they are relevant I join in. At the moment my focus is on the boys having a good summer rather than on cleaning.

Thanks for all the kind comments re how we agree housework. I am happy with the arrangement and so is DH. DH did arrive home at 9pm last night and left at 5am this morning rather than spend our anniversery in a hampshire hotel.

Lots to get done today - really need to start on this deep clean, plus we must go food shopping - with the boys, my pet hate.

    HHC 9.30-10.00 anyone?
