Hex thanks for that - it confirms my decision (NO BTW) TBH; not least because she is in a strange house with no adults. I stayed home alone at 16 (almost 17 TBH) when the family went on holiday and I didn't got but I was very very good...boringly so actually. I did discover then, though, that food (rice pudding) can be eaten straight from the tin and you can go for about 3 days without washing up (because THAT'S when I ran out of pans LOL)
Not doing master bedroom today because I di it Sunday. Have picked the last of the blackcurrants. Have also pruned them back a bit (well hacked really, its so haphazard. I must google to see if I am SUPPOSED to prune them...)
Phoned insurers (two lots of damage - cistern lid+cracked handbasin= 2 separate claims and therefore two excesses of £200 in total. Hardly seems worth it especailly if you factor in impact of losing NCB)
Boddy hoping your last few weeks of work go smoothly and happily.
embb did your doctor ever buy you a mop?
Orkney hope you're having a good day. Happy Birthday!
ETA apparently I am supposed to prune by about a third, losing the oldest branches. I will also prune any stems that are crossing other stems. This is by far the best crop I have ever had!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
