    Morning all

We have sunshine. I shall be washing.
    Happy birthday Orkney Star :bdaycake:

Bev, I don't know about the Red Cross doing daily loans. Maybe give them a ring? I had a quick look at their website and you can buy one for less that £200. Also were you aware of the NHS wheelchair service? I don't know your exact circumstances but it might be worth a try.

    Morning all

I'm working from home for about another 30 mins before heading out to a meeting. Need to fly in the kitchen and bathroom tonight, DH has been doing more than me recently! He is about to start studying again so it should be a bit easier for me to get on with it (though not necessarily get on here til we have laptop again!).

    i do miss you all!

  • Good morning everyone.

My goodness you folks don't half yabber. 24 pages already. I managed to read them all yesterday evening and then lost my post into the wide blue yonder; so Happy Birthday Boddy for yesterday and also to orkney Star for today.

Jo I'm glad you are staying so positive and wish you the best of luck.

Well I managed to complete the kitchen yesterday and the lounge hall and stairs as I had visitors yesterday afternoon and had to get the place into a presentable fashion. Is that 2 stars Soappie? I'm getting ahead of myself this week as I seem to run out of steam before the end of the week. Off to do the bedroom before the day gets in the way.

Have now got my beige washing going around the machine. I'm also on my 4th cup of tea. I've emailed a friend re: her dog coming to stay with us for three weeks on Friday. I've also emailed DH to cadge £50.00 off him until the weekend, well someone has to pay for these shoes to be heeled..lol
