I am :eek:ing at my table! I have a plastic/cloth cover on it and my mate came round on saturday for an Indian - after I wiped the table their were yellow (turmeric/ghee?) stains on it so today I have slopped neat bleach onto it. This usually works for the WHITE worktops in the kitchen but it hasn't touched the stains on the cloth - but the dishcloth is FILTHY - clearly there is ingrained dirt on this 'wipeable' cloth so I bleached the whole thing twice until the dishcloth stayed clean - Now I am wiping carefully to ensure no bleach. I COULD go and buy a new one ...
I have also brought down one bag of DDs sorting - labelled recycling and separated it into either the green bin or the blue bag. There are two labelled attic and one labelled charity shop. They are ALL in my room though ... must send her back upto finish.
Now back to the kitchen...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

have you SEEN the will Greenbee?
Good point... suppose I should try to get a copy...SarahShattered wrote: »Greenbee she sounds like a dream of a step-grandmother!! Much like my DH's "step-mother" (4 yrs older than DH and almost 30yrs younger than FIL   ) Is there a chance your mother can get a copy of the will?
And I take it your DH is also very fond of his step motherGood point about the will... as my mother is supposed to be one of the executors, you'd have thought she'd have seen a copy before probate was granted, but she appears to have been left out of the process... admittedly she did decline to go all the way down to Devon for an appointment, but then that was partly because it was the first that she had heard of it
Hopefully we won't have to have much contact after this, as it just makes things too difficult for my mum.
On the flying front, I have now walked to the shop and bought my chicken, which is in the fridge, and some more eggs, as I feel a baking session coming on... when I've done my work, obviously...0 -
All ironed clothes removed from lounge and floor clearance started and yes that did take 30 mins
