Thanks, yes i'm going for it, i was pretty sure i was going to but i phoned my mum first to see what she thought before i agreed to do it. There is always the option to switch back to Honours after 3rd year if i dont get good enough grades. It is the same course until 5th year just with a much higher grading requirement for progression.
Thank you to everyone else too, i really appreciate the support from you all.
I didn't realise it was possible to switch to a Masters before completing your first degree.

Question probably mainly for those north of the border.
It may be my imagination, but are we getting more thunderstorms than we used to?

    AARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGgggggggHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!1

    @^$*&@$^*@^$^*&(@£%%&* ....... children!!!!

I swear I AM going to kill one of these boys in a minute they have done nothing but argue and scream and fight all day and I have quite seriously had enough.

DS2 is being alarmingly special and 'hates his glasses' and has hidden them.. from himself because obviously noone else wants to wear them anyway.. I do wonder how sane he is too!! DS3 also being alarmingly special as DD has reclaimed her PS2 they have had for months and it is in the middle room so he has been on one since yesterday evening.

Much more of this and I am putting them both on ebay!!!!!

    food for me.... back later!!

But they weren't open at the weekend so I couldn't get it done then :o

But you could have done it BEFORE the weekend! I've finally gotten around to booking my car in for an MOT - that was on a list of five a couple of weeks ago. I'm not going to claim it retrospectively now :p

The masters will be my 5th year, if i dont go on and do it i will get my BSc instead of an MMath. I needed to make the decision to switch now though. It is the same as the BSc up until 5th year.

And to your 2nd question, yes we are. Loads of storms, loving it:D

My 5 jobs for the day will be
    1. to clear the floordrobe in our bedroom
    2. calm my Mum down when she phones to tell me of more horrors she is encountering whilst on hols with my DD ans DS -cut toe, wasp sting and a mountain of washing are the probs so far!! And thats from one day on holiday. Done - no disasters other than the gift shop being closed when DD wanted to visit it
    3. Be enthusiastic about the fishing trip planned with DH for Tuesday [he's gonna talk to me all day about it] Done - I even went with him to buy maggots
    4. Clean the bathroom
    5. Make a smoothie - got a bit lazy about this

    I have also done
    WM x 2
    TD x 2
    Loaded DW
Walked round charity shops in 2 towns [bought books and a video]
    Went to MrT

Off to do the fllordrobe and bathroom now - haven't managed to catch up on the last 5 pages of the thread but will try to do so later
