thanks for that Wilf, even our front door is solid so literally no light at all unless the interior doors are open to diffrent rooms.

we have to keep the toilet door open for daylight on the hall stairs and landing

the mint green is nice though and although its cool i warm it up a bit with earthy browns picture frames etc not enough room for furniture but still looks nice

Front and back lawns are mowed... thought I'd better do it in case the big black clouds are full of rain!

Good idea re tonight, I'm just desperate to do something 'normal', even if it will be at 1 mph.:o

Your thoughts are great re lists and delegating....will do, we're good for most things as I'm a stockpiler....hence the mess.;):D

Only thing you guys can do is just keep being here and don't too disappointed about my lack of flying.I'll do what I can.xxx

I hope you manage to have a lovely evening, even if it isn't as wild and exciting as you've have liked :o:D

When my mum was ill and my dad had to do everything, I wrote out instructions for him as to what to make her for meals, and how to make the various things. Perhaps you could get one of your girls to bring your cookbooks up to your bedroom (or to the sofa if you feel like sitting down there) and make a meal plan with the pages of the recipes noted. You could set them the challenge of working through your stockpile while you get better - after all, this is the kind of thing it's there for!

If you're spending a lot of time in bed, get your DH to change the bedding a couple of times a week while you have a bath or shower (and help you wash your hair if you're finding this difficult), so that you feel clean and fresh. If this means getting more bedding so he doesn't have to wash and dry on the same day, then order yourself something nice - you may be spending quite a bit of time with it!

Try not to spend all your time in PJs, but make sure that you have some stuff that's easy to put on (but also makes you feel nice - not just manky old leggings and holey jumpers ;)) when you know you'll just be in the house. Getting washed and changed may be hard work, but hopefully it'll make you feel better and a bit more normal.

As for the flying... this is the ideal opportunity to get the rest of the family to do it while you supervise! Or at least to declutter... they can report back to you at regular intervals while you compile lists and direct operations from a comfy chair or your bed. Hopefully the weather will improve and you'll be able to sit outside and get a bit of fresh air and sunshine. But please don't waste your precious energy on going to Tesco again!

Lots of hugs and get well vibes heading your way.

Hi, I just thought I would say Hello! I have managed to start reading posts from earlier in the week and want to say to PP and Triker please stay and do what I am doing at the moment. I am steadily doing a bit at a time. If the weather is good I go outside, or wash the bedding. If it's horrible I put on some music and do a bit inside. I haven't kept to any lists this week except my own list of five.

I am desperately tring to find some money so clearing out has been a help to boosting my income. I still can't seem to sell much on ebay so I am taking a break from it.

Dolly huge hugs to you and your family.

    hello all

Creeping in again to say hi. Another week has flown but and I've hardly been online except at work!

We have been flying here though. DH did a clean through on Friday as he had the day off and we've just changed the bed. I now just need to dust the bedroom as it's a bit fluffy! Bit of a nightmare last night when we came in after being out for about 7 hours to find the freezer had leaked all over. Thought DH had not shut it properly but it had leaked again over ngith. seems ok now, most stuff was still frozen thankfully!

I had my hospital appointment for the pcos on friday. it went ok though I didn't warm to the Dr. He's taken me off my pill and wants to do a lot of blood tests to rule out any other conditions. I have to go back in 8 weeks and he'll probably put me on medication then. In the meantime I have to do at least 30 mins exercise (other than walking) on 2 days a week. I'm hoping that's achieveable!

I'm a bit all over the place today, i think my hormones are probably all over with coming off the pill! Been on the edge of tears half the day for no real reason!

I will probably not be on much again for a few more weeks (hopefully get the laptop fixed this week) but I will still be flying. I hope everyone is ok and hugs to all who are in need.

  • Evening everyone

I was planning a lazy day...................and this is what I ended up doing:

Go to pets at home for fish food and tank water cleaner
Go to Sainsbury (just could not face asda) for weekly shop using my menu plan (go me!) and picked up a couple of under £1 bargains
    Ironing
    See nan
Empty my broken car all ready for scrappy
    Clean small fish tank
    Walk dogs
    Do tea
    Fill DW

Not bad eh...............tired now but will drag myself out later again with the dogs

    1 step
If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T
    I'm not short - I'm condensed awesome! :p

    Evening ladies

Been gardening all afternoon, got lots done but still lots to do. Just need to pop out in a minute and tidy up the last few bits.

Soappie - are you feeling any better this evening

Pooh sending money coming your way vibes to you

Hex - hope you are ok

    Chunky
    - hope you enjoyed the wedding. This will make you laugh. I went to the health food shop yesterday and got some Hopi candles and a free sample of inner ear support tablets. Explained it all to DS3 who ran upstairs to DS2 and said 'Mum has got me sweeties that look like cat biscuits but taste of strawberries and she is going to put sticks in my ears and set them on fire to stop the popping'

Nope, feeling worse. Had a hot bath to try and take the chill out of my bones which has worked but I'm now getting a bit feverish and am a bit shakey. So I'm being good and sipping water and not Gordons! Dinner's all prepped so just need to cook it. I hope Piggers isn't too late putting the new thread up...
