  • before i forget...... hugs to mudbath, rosepink and triker

took DD to the dr's and the ever so kind dr with a great bedside manner was on duty today:rolleyes:, went in she said 'yes' told her DD has had a cough for a couple of days, she told DD to go around to her, looked at her throat, felt her glands, listened to her chest, typed some notes on the computer, printed off a prescription and handed it to me, i asked if it was a chest infection, and all i got in reply was 'it's a bit on her throat' oh how i LOVE my dr!!

so DD has a throat infection, bless her!

i would maybe get your mum flowers, not a card.

grey trousers are fine though I don't wear black to funerals usually... I'm not one for tradition.. pink for my grans funeral and purple at my uncles

Dolly I'd say don't worry about a card, unless you are the sort of family who send cards to each other a lot for various occassions. Flowers would be nice or a plant to remember your Nan by which can go outside afterwards.

Grey trousers will be absolutely fine, speak to your Mum about if you wear black, we don't as a family at funerals.

Well done for speaking to your DD xx

    Afternoon all xx

I managed to get a fascinator from town:T a lady on the market makes them. Absolutely Fabulous darling! She is fantastic and it cost me £9.95. I was amazed at the price as one i had seen in shops were double that and not half as nice.

The little one is known as prawn as it rhymes with Sean. Only thing is now if you say whats your name he replies "Sean d Prawn". Should be fun when he starts school.

Dusty my DD i call her smell, and she answers:rotfl:. Only thing is sometimes i forget myself and the last week of school i had to nip down and drop something off for her, like a jellyhead i actually asked if the teacher had seen our smell!

So far i have managed 4 loads of wshing pegged 3 out brought 2 in and 1 more to go out after my tea break!

OCD more like OMG my MIL has it, well i say she has, only thing its not the clean one either!!!! I have never seen so much junk in all my life. On the last day of our holiday i poured away the tiniest drop of Bacardi breezer she almost had a heart attack! She even has a corner for broken items that are unfixable just incase the pixies come in at night to fix them i suppose! I have clutter but from the kids i say this as i clean....if in doubt chuck it out, if its not been used in 12 months then i don't need it!

    Need to

    S & S LR and Kitchen
    Ironing
Beasts rooms, Not too bad they shouldn't take long.
    Mop Kitchen floor
    peg last load of washing
    clean the LR window again
cook tea (spaghetti Bolognese) I have made the sauce already.

Also i would like to add that my printer is now fixed,:T I found three 5pences stuck in it so i am very proud of myself for not chucking it out

    HHC 3:15 to 3:45 anyone....

    here i goooo
You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !

Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?

We have a dolly too.. she is still dolly at 12!! When she was born she looked just like a little doll (4lb 9oz) she was absolutely adorable.. but we also have.. The boy, bunny, bear, then dolly, then Bug/noodles, Mimi/meemaloo, moomin and Tiddles/Twinkle/Quaverface.

And they wonder why I can't remember their real names!

i also have a flossie! my dolly wasn't small when she was born she was 9lb 15oz but failed to gain weight so hence the dolly nick name.

i never ever call my kids their right names get some funny looks when we are out, but i'd rather that than some odd ball calling out their names and pretending they know them!!

Mudbath - I picture white walls, white wood floor, one outfit each for them to be washed on them while in the bath. Sitting on a stool each to watch tv and sleeping in a single bed each, and all food must be consumed outside the house therefore nothing new coming in. Oh and one of those roomba hoover things just wondering round the house sucking up any dust that may be created. Think we should call it expert minimalist. lol.

How did you get access to my dream!!!! But a television....let's not spoil them now! :rotfl:xx

Pollybear - fantastic news about your woofit!!! I bet you're so relieved.
Grateful - there is no way she'd let me do a life laundry though I would LOVE to do it. She is still very defensive about it all. I've popped round to say I'm going to help her organise it all and she's in a VERY BAD mood with me now....i'll get the cold treatment for a while!
Chunky - do you mean the fix it pixies won't turn up? But my mum has ALWAYS has a pile of useless, broken junk and i'm sure that's who she was waiting for!

I'm off to empty a few more drawers and burn a candle or two.....I hate them when they're burnt halfway down....so ugly! I'm going to get OCD the other way to my mum if i'm not careful! xx
