Hi everyone, I am back from a couple of days in bandit country. No hope of catching up, so hugs to all in need.

Frantically trying to get the laundry done.

    jo bon voyage

sarahshattered I think its a bit mean. We have a "feed animals before people" rule in our house, obv except when they were little babies. Dog won't hurt if its fed an hour later, I don't think.

The vet nurse rang a while ago and said the dog was in recovery and I've got to ring them back at 2.30 to see when I can pick her up :)

    mudbath hugs

    triker get well soon

rosepink hugs, it is hard for the partners of people with depression, though not so hard as for the people with depression, I think. Glad you're feeling better today.

pollybear will pray for your doggle, sure it will all go fine. Clever people, vets.

eta mudbath this may be a bit off the wall, and would depend on you having lots of willing bodies, but could you put on a "life laundry" for your mum, where all the clutter gets sorted and then re-organised and she has a few little treats, like a coat of paint in a room and a bit of a refresh of the "decor" then you could present the idea as a bit of a treat for her, and its all happy and (hopefully) not too threatening?

We have a dolly too.. she is still dolly at 12!! When she was born she looked just like a little doll (4lb 9oz) she was absolutely adorable.. but we also have.. The boy, bunny, bear, then dolly, then Bug/noodles, Mimi/meemaloo, moomin and Tiddles/Twinkle/Quaverface.

And they wonder why I can't remember their real names!
