Thanks for everyones lovely hugs etc and sorry for the rant!
My dad has had an injection behind his eye and it's a case of wait and see.
My mum....well, that's a different story!!! Whilst she was out this morning my sister did a tour of the house and found it's worse than we thought. Apart from the room we now know about there are three other rooms that have piles of bin bags in cupboards and the shed and garage are full to bursting. From the looks of it, it's all newspapers, old clothes, ice cream tubs etc so the debt is all 'old debt' that is getting worse as she robs Peter to pay Paul! She refuses to acknowledge the debt. Aaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!! We've asked her about the bags of rubbish and told her it needs to be sorted (we were more tactful than that) and she refuses to see it as a problem. I'm going to buy a load of storage boxes and tell her that whilst I don't want her to throw anything away (yeah right!!), I do want her to sort it out so I know the what the important stuff is if anything happens. At least if I can get it in boxes e.g. family history, ice cream cartons (?!?!?!?), flyers from newspapers (!?!?!) she might see how stupid it is and if not I can 'lose' the odd box or ten for her everytime I go round. She refuses to see a doctor and as she 'functions' perfectly normally on the surface I can't get the doctor to contact her.
I am now going to go and throw every last bit of tat and clutter away in my house....I am NOT doing this to my children!
Got the tamiflu for DH, elderly neighbour has swine flu so need to go and get his this afternoon.
If I had time i'd book myself in for a nervous breakdown!!!
Hugs to everyone xxx0
