Morning All. Feeling like poop still. I've got to go to Mum's caravan today, I'm driving, and the thought of going is making me feel very sick. I've got to supervise the children with packing, when all I want to do is lie down.

And.... we've run out of Lavazza coffee, so I can't have my morning Latte. It's just rubbish!!!

My DH woke DD1 at 7.20 because it's her job to feed the dog, and he normally gets fed at 6.45. (we're all pretty early risers obviously, and during the term time she is up well before that )
 He said that "it's her job, and there's not enough disicpline in this house, and that if he did it for her she wouldn't learn any responsibility"
I thought that was pretty mean.... does anyone have any thoughts on that?

Morning all - Ashia, yes the meds are helping lots thanks.
Am going to risk the gym tonight so any flying will probably take place tomorrow, but I will be putting a wash on before I go to work.

Had fun yesterday with the photo shoot, so those of you who live in Hull will get to see various people (not me!!) demonstrating the new recycling scheme in my front garden when the leaflets come out in a month or two.

Hugs to all who need them, so many of you need a little TLC. Jo please give lots of love to Toots when you see her and I hope she gets home soon.

Kazm - Favours - what I did when DS and DiL got married was by a bit of glizty gauze, a bit of thin ribbon and some sugar almonds from poundland. I cut the material into squares using pinking shears, wrapped a couple of sugar almonds in the square and then tied up with a bit of ribbon. Cheap but very cheerful.

Sarash - I think what your DH said is perfectly reasonable...

    Jinky
    - have a good week

DS still rough this morning. Have had approval from sis re the dress so that's all sorted. Must go and do stars now

Soappie, glad your sis liked the dress, I think it's lovely. Good choice... and in the sale... bonus!
I did think he was mean, but given the strop that she's just pulled, I think he should have got her up at 5.30 just so she was ready! :D

  • morning all,
i don't feel too bad this morning, all still feels very raw and like it isn't happening......
DD has had a cough since yesterday and this morning it is loads worse so we are off to the dr's this morning, need to remember to ask for some neurofen for her as well as we are running low and she is running a bit of a temp too, so will need it, incase she has a convulsion.
TOTM still isn't here and should have been here yesterday, i doubt it will show now though with all the stress but i think i might still do a test anyway, just to make sure!

SarahS - not too sure on that one, ok it is her responsibility to feed the dog, but it is the holidays and if your OH was up anyway, why didn't he just feed the dog? maybe let her have a week off getting up to feed the dog during the holidays(after all, as an employee, we get holidays) but make sure she knows it is only a week
JO - have a safe journey to pick up your LO and thank you for your kind words
Kazm - love the idea that soappie gave you about the favours
jinky - have a great week

and anyone else that i might have missed, hugs to you as well
