Yep Kirsten...you would definately have finger cramp as cheque still not arrived today. I have chased up but the guy is working away from home now so sent me a msg from his blackberry (nice to be able to afford one ) to say sorry he hadn't sent it and he was away now.... Its not just my cheque either though - I actually can't do much work for them until they send me the paperwork. Someone else asked me to do something for them, to which i said i can't as i haven't had x yet and she was like OMG hasn't he sent it to you yet???? So hopefully that means he will get chased up from her too. Its just embarassing now  I could go and pick it up but it will like cost me 20 in petrol  It is just ridiculous. OH is not happy! I will definatly be requesting a standing order be set up when i next see them (september!!!)

Other news.... got 50 chq for cashback for mobile contract today :D

Its been raining so can't get in the sheds to sort ebay stuff. I think i'm coming down with something as got snotty nose and headache  and just feel knackered

tiler has just arrived to carry on with my bathroom. Gawd he is a miserable old goat. He took one look and said "oh bloody great - pipes!" Surely all bathrooms have pipes??? He better watch it or he won't get no brews from me :rotfl: Only joking I always offer at least once....

Still going strong with my cleaning and OS style stuff. It is going well. Going to attempt a curry this evening - can't really be bothered but haven't got much else and i've specially bought all the ingredients for it so i better had make it or OH will be mad  I'll enjoy it but its just the thought of it!

Anyway....best get started on things or nothing will get done again whilst DS is in bed

I have just tried to make a curry...and failed. So not having much luck. Will try again next week.....lol

so we are having fish fingers and HM wedges. ha ha. still nice but not as nice.

Best get back to it as it is nearly eight o'clock.....

I was up early today as a workman was meant to be coming at 8am but still not here at 9.30. He asked if i would b going out and i said no so that means he will prolly turn up at 4pm. Should have said that i was going out. That'll teach me.

I normally post on the daily thread but im starting to get confused so i think i will just keep everything here. And it all stuff that keep me on the DF road anyway.

think thats enough for today  I'm hoping i can have a productive day today so can make up for not doing much the last two days from being so knackered :o

need to put my 50 phone rebate in the bank but hopefully can go in the bank with my pay cheque :rotfl: Will chase again today...

loan payment went out today - will wait for the one tomorrow to go out and will then update figs for the month. I just realised that the loan tomorrow is for 352.97 which is 89p MORE than our rent  Why on earth did i think it was a good idea to take this out????? If only i'd found MSE before then. And its fixed so can't over pay. I'm not stupid  Oh well its done now but still REALLY annoying.

    Hi hun

heres the curry recipe for you

1kg Maris Piper potatoes, cut into 2cm pieces (or any other potato in any size!!)
    50ml oil + 1 extra tbsp
    50g butter
8 skinless chicken thigh fillets (thighs are cheaper than breast)
    2tbsp hot curry powder
    1 onion, chopped
    600ml chicken stock
3 cloves garlic, crushed (i use the powder)
Zest and juice of 1 lemon (again cheating is to used a couple tablespoons of the lemon juice from the baking aisle)

1)Boil the potatoes for 5 mins, then drain. Heat the 50ml oil and butter in a roasting tray and fry the potatoes for 10 mins, turning occasionally until golden.
    2. Meanwhile, mix the chicken and curry powder together until evenly coated. Heat the 1tbsp oil and fry the chicken for 5 mins, turning once halfway. (you can keep the thighs whole or chop into smaller pieces)
    3. Add the onion and fry for 3 mins. Stir in the stock, garlic, lemon zest and juice, bring to the boil and simmer for 15 mins. Transfer to a serving dish and top with the potatoes. Bake for 15 mins until golden.

sounds alot but once you have done it you will realize how easy it is!! i find that the stock is a bit much, i maybe only put 3/4 that amount in, and then add more if it becomes dry while simmering,

This serves 4 but if you play it well and have with rice and naan bread, you can bulk it this way and use takeaway tubs to store each double portion in.

Whew, need a nap now lol :rotfl:

Well at least it is friday :j
1/online banking - done - transferred another 1 over as 70p short somehow. There is a 2 payment pending for something  must keep an eye on this.
    2/scratchies - done
    3/work hours
    4/cleaning list
    5/entertain DS for free
6/food from stores - need to find something
7/do any new comps and freebies
    8/sort paperwork out and filing
    9/odd job list..
10/print off form for course funding and fill in and send off!
11/chase sky for Mr T voucher
    12/catch up with yesterdays forum

pretty much the same list as yesterday:mad: didn't do as much last night as i hoped as had a really bad headache so just chilled out. also my mum visited

Might be having friends round later. They are DINKS and usually spend most of the time bragging about how much cash they have  Thing is a)their parents paid off all their debts b)their parents also brought them a brand new car c)they need to have a lodger d) they bought shared ownership so pay mortgage AND rent e)they aren't big earners so they can't be *that* well off and if they are then it is only becuz of their parents. BUT obv we can't say that to them so me and OH just spend most of the time nodding and massaging their ego ;) And there are rumours (well pretty solid ones) that he has cheated on her so i'm not looking forward to that  She text me to arrange meeting up but it sort of ended up that i invited them to ours which i don't mind really as it is easier with DS BUT now she hasn't told me what time etc so i said to OH that i'll just leave it upto them to get in touch again and if they don't then it doesn't matter. They have been known to come to ours knowingly for drinks, without alcohol and drink all of ours  I don't mind now and again if they skint as we're friends and all that but they do it a little bit too often  And OH has to make his cans last until we go shopping next week so he will be fuming if he drinks them all :rotfl:

So...they are the greatest friends obviously  No, seriously they are good friends it isn't all bad. I just have this feeling that they havent gotten in touch again in case they get a better offer for tonight IYSWIM  but she arranged it??

And to top it all - i haven't invited them to DS bday party in a couple of weeks as i'm only inviting close family and the godparents/partners. They aren't godparents so obv they aren't invited. I know they were offended about the whole godparents thing but i think we have got over that now  I'm not going to crack and invite them as that means we'll have to invite other people too and i'm trying to keep it small. I already have 20 people coming. That's enough. I MUST BE STRONG! HELP ME!

Oopps...rambling long post. Best get cracking and entertain DS!!! :D

OH going to bank tomo to pay in 50 chq for phone rebate

Oh...friends obv did get a better offer as not come round today. Funny thing is SIL is having a party tonight (she is only 18) as ILs are away. I guess they have gone there instead :rotfl: Her OH cheated on her with one of SIL's friends. I doubt she has gone but probably HE has  Gawd i'm a b***h! :D Miaow... no i don't care really as OH is already snoring away on the sofa besides me, DS is tucked up in bed and i'm going to bed as soon as i have finished updating this ;) So no harm done.....

Plan for weekend is get shed sorted out tomorrow and ALL boxes. Will post my list for the weekend tomorrow.

Done comps and freebies. Got a great freebie today - 1 fullsize shampoo and 1 fullsize condition. it is pantene but :T great freebie with only a survey to do :A
