Re clothes - what size are you?

  • Morning Hypno I'm a 12 to 14 all areas LOL !
Have looked through Bon Pric catalogue, some cheap, simple plain items to be had. New job requires casual, can get away with jeans IYSWIM. Reckon I can get away with a £80 spend for around 10 items to mix and match.

Well, I have just moved down from a 12-14 to a 10-12, so PM me your address and I will chuck a couple of decent work things your way - if they are no good, simply pass them on to a charity shop of your choice.

  • I am in limbo land re new job offer, sometimes things are not what they seem. I'll leave it at that for now.

Today is a new day, and I'm going to make the most of it.

  • Funny how things can change so quickly, 72 hours ago I was ecstatic at having found a new position, today I'm relieved at having had to turn it down. I found out some stuff about said job that I was unaware of.

So therefore something better is out there.

Life is full of twists and turns isn't it.

    Onward !

Twists and turns indeed. And at least you know now you CAN get another job - must be good for your confidence!

And YES there is something better out there for you! And better that you found out the issues now rather than when it was too late.

  • You ever find yourself thinking so much about things that you get lost in a tumbleweed of thoughts and eventually (thankfully) come out the otherside ?

That's where I've been this last few days, and this morning woken up with some real clarity on my situation, what I have to do, and I would *like* to do.

Am going to relax a little about everything, can't do it all at once.
To do list needs re-examining, bit of jiggling.
Need to take some time off work to be with my youngest son over the holidays, and get some of the aforementioned niggling little jobs done/planned.

Financially I checked my credit report last week and was surprised to see no mention of a two year old default, in fact no defaults and no searches showing. But still had a rejection on an MBNA application. Wanted to move some of the Marbles balance.

Credit rating was good at 428. I guess if I keep my nose clean for another year I could have another attempt. I have 7 closed accounts, 7 open, but I know that should be 8 open. Am going on the idea that I have too many open accounts. So maybe batter the lowest balances down.

So today I will be a little more me :)
