Well they want me to start beginning of August, but current contract states a months notice, throw in annual leave entitlement, DS2 on summer holidays I'm aiming for mid August with a week off between jobs.
Personally I have been so down in the last month at present postion, felt put down and overlooked. I work for a charity at the moment at the atmostphere is dire, as we rely on funding. I hate to say it but I've just left a sinking ship. I feel for the people we are there to 'help'. Charities are a business, but the powers that be don't seem to 'get it'.
A situation arose last week which ended up with me being called into the managers office to confirm/redefine my duties, I felt like a 15 year old, and got home totally feeling belittled. I am a 40 something year old woman for goodness sake. I think that was the LBM for changing the situation.
If I'm not good, then my dear sons aren't good (and neither is my diary/debt thumping) so am on a new path, new wagon, new energy.
Oh dear where did all that come from ?
Thanks for listening !DC.

You have not been exactly happy in your job for some time, so it is not as though you are making any sort of rash decision. I think it is a good move for you, and more money, easy to get to, and a chance for a fresh start will be fab for you right now.
And the middle of August will be here before you know it! Full steam ahead!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Yes you are right Hypno, first post on this diary, nearly a year ago declares something had to be done.
Quite happy to take it easy for a few weeks now.
Been lurking in diaryland all morning and remotivating myself, am quite disgusted that I hadn't subscribed to the latest adventures of Hypno !DC.

Ah, one diary of mine is much like another - skint, tired, and with a mountain of ironing threatening to spill out from one room into another......
